My head hurts, and I'm pretty sure I'm covered in my own blood. Yet I feel fucking great.
It was nothing new, previous damage from when Delta got the best of him. Nah, the new scars were hidden under the scarf he wore around his neck, where the bloodthirsty Devilheaded bastards slit his throat wide open and bled him out for their distant god.Â
He slurped some noodles and smirked. “Well, you know…as normal as it gets.”
Static laughed quietly. "That's more like it." She said before quietly eating a bit. She didn't say anything else for a few minutes, just thinking to herself. Soon, she looked up. "You don't have any idea how long you've been out here, do you?"
He nodded. It was good enough for him. He didn’t really expect her to drop everything to pick back up with him. Especially after the way he was (which wasn’t his fault, really)…but funny thing about dying, it seemed to reset everything about illness. He was in as peak a physical condition, considering. Although when he lifted his arms and exposed skin, Stat could see the ugly scar across the left side of his stomach. The microwave dinged and he opened it up. handing her dinner and a spoon, taking the bent one for himself. “I’m tired of disappearing anyway. I just want to be normal again.”
Though she could see the scar, she decided that now wasn't the best tie to ask about it it. I could wait, and she would learn eventually. Stat graciously took the food and smiled slightly "Normal? I'm sorry to say I don't think that's really a possibility anymore. We have two dead men and a girl who has heard both of them from beyond the grave. Does that really seem normal to you?"

She nodded, understanding. “You don’t have to remember, I don’t really want to know, in all honesty.” Stat watched him carefully, a small smile appearing on her face. “That’s fucking awesome. I mean, if we could get this to the bar, we would be set.” Her smile faltered...
Static hopped onto the counter, letting her legs dangle over the edge. She frowned at the thought. "It's not moving on really.. I don't think. It's his bar, so, he lives there too. And I do his.. Favors sometimes, yeah, but it's not a thing. Definitely not." After letting the silence take over for a minute or so, she sighed. "If he has a problem with it, hell have to deal with it. I don't want you disappearing again."
"I believe you.. I do. It’s just.. Sort of weird, you know? You were gone for so long, and.. I don’t know how to explain it." She smiled slightly, taking a deep breath, trying not to cry. “You look.. A little worse. But that’s okay… You’ve been through god knows what.”...

She sighed an nodded slowly, finally able to find words. “I.. I guess that’s okay, yeah. The bars safe for the night without me there.” She hesitated, but hugged him back, letting out a small gasp; she had started to cry. “Don’t apologize.. You didn’t do anything wrong....

He would have pushed to leave know, despite the darkness, and hell, they might have been dead already.
Even just hearing his voice, in real life instead of over a radio broadcast, was enough to send shivers down her spine, as if he were just a ghost. Static got off of her bike and quickly made her way inside, “Is it that bad here in the dark?” She asked, her voice rather...

She backed away from the hug an took another look over him. "What the hell happened?"
Static & Vox
The lone lighted sign flickered on and off ominously in the dying light. It looked like a busted-ass Chevron, from what remained of the stripped paint on the covering over the gas pumps. As Stat pulled into one of the aisles, Vox peered out. Things weren’t falling into place in his memory, and that damn fog, only a couple of meters behind the gas station kept whispering at him to come back. Backwards was to die again, forwards to live with whatever had happened to Stat in his nearly year-long absence. Forwards. "Here," he called, voice weak. "Hurry inside, it’s almost dark…"
Even just hearing his voice, in real life instead of over a radio broadcast, was enough to send shivers down her spine, as if he were just a ghost. Static got off of her bike and quickly made her way inside, "Is it that bad here in the dark?" She asked, her voice rather soft compared to what it usually was. She looked around until her eyes fell upon him. She wanted to say something, but no words came out when she opened her mouth; after all, what is there to say to a dead man?

MYTH-WAVE SAID:WHO D’YOU KNOW THAT I IRRITATE? OTHER THAN YOU O’COURSE, BUT YOU LOVE IT. I GUESS I’LL HANG BACK, WOULDN’T WANNA BE TH’THIRD WHEEL FOR YOU AN’ YOUR EX’S REUNION.
I don't count, now? I'm offended. It's not considered being a third wheel, I don't think, but.. if you say so. Keep everything together here, alright?
Static & Vox
It had been hours since Static had left the bar, and one of the few people she bothered to associate with anymore. How many hours? She had no idea, but it felt like an eternity. It was getting dark, and  by now, Stat was losing hope that she was going to find this stupid gas station that Vox had been talking about. But after nearly another hour of driving, she saw it. She sped up, and as she approached, called out his name. "Vox?"
You heard my voice, huh? Alright, well I guess if I come back, he can too... but th'bar'll be safe without us, I'll close up shop an' come with ya, alright?
Yeah.. Are you sure? I mean, you really don't have to come, if you don't want to. It.. it might be a while, and I don't want you irritating him. You can do that to people sometimes..
Last time? Wait wait wait, babydoll, he /died/ though... how's he back?
Yeah... I would hear his voice, like... like I heard yours. And you came back and... now so did he. I don't know how, really, but, I want to go find him. Would you want to come with me? Or you can stay and keep the bar safe..
Yeah... yeah, I remember 'im... he's th'one who died right? Your old boyfriend?
Uh.. Yeah. I I'm, he's been talking to me again. And.. It's not like last time; when it was in my head.. It's real.
