Hi! Hope youâre doing amazing! If youâre taking fic requests can you do one where the fire fam + buck finds out that eddie can dance? Like professional level dance? Literally just go watch ryan dance in step up revolution. Itâs fabulous. Thanks hun :)
Okay I admit I had a lot of fun writing this, even though itâs just buck not the firefam. Thanks for the request, anon, life has been sucky and this made me laugh <3
âBuck!â Eddie called out as he opened the door, swinging it shut with his foot as he walked inside. âI brought the groceries you asked for.â He walked over to the kitchen, placing the paper brown bags filled to the brim with food on the counter, frowning a little when he didnât see his boyfriend sitting in the living room. âBuck?â he asked again.
It was then that he heard the music, something poppy and vaguely familiar to his ears. It sounded like it was coming from upstairs, so Eddie rolled his eyes and started putting the food away, figuring Buck probably got distracted with something else on Youtube. At least heâd finally seemed to stop fixating over natural disastersârecently it was all funny animal tiktoks on his phone.
The music was annoying thoughâthere was something about it that tickled Eddieâs brain, something he couldnât put his finger on. It was definitely poppy, but older, he thinks, based on the mix and beat of it andâ
Eddieâs eyes widened and he rushed up the stairs, the rest of the pantry items forgotten. There, he found Buck sprawled out on the bed, eyes glued to the computer scene that wasâEddie cringed. Yeah, definitely playing on of his old Mob dances.
âPlease donât tell me youâre watching what I think youâre watching.â Eddie pleaded, feelings his cheeks burn with embarrassment, and hovering on the top of the stairs.
âIf you mean am I watching a dance group called the Mob from Miami doing some very sexy street dancing and there's a guy that looks like you prominently featured in each dance thenâŚno Iâm absolutely not watching that at all,â Buck replied, his eyes still glued to screen in front of him.
Eddie mutters in Spanish under his breath, pinching the bridge of his nose. âHow did you even find those?â
âYou got tagged by one of your old dancing buddies on a picture on Facebook,â Buck answered the edges of a grin on his face. âWasnât hard after that.â
Moose. Damn him, because Eddie knew it wouldnât be anyone else.
Eddie quickly walked up and closed Buckâs laptop, averting his gaze. âDonât watch these. Theyâre embarrassing.â
âEmbarrassing?â Buck repeated, incredulous. âNo, tripping over the firehose and landing flat on your face and giving yourself a nose bleed is embarrassing. This is awesome.â
âNo.â Eddie groaned, scrubbing his face with his hand. âWe were stupid kids street dancing for fame and money. Itâs mortifying.â
When he finally looked down to meet Buckâs gaze after he had been quiet for a little too long, he was startled to see the dark look of desire in his boyfriendâs eyes, the curl of a smirk on his lips. âItâs incredibly sexy.â Buck disagreed, reaching out to grab Eddieâs hand and drag him to the edge of the bed so he was standing in-between Buckâs legs. âVery sexy.â
âIs thisâare you turned on?â Eddie asked, now his turn to be incredulous. âBy me dancing?â
Buck shrugged, his hands slowly trailing up Eddieâs arms before settling against his waist. âObviously. Dancing his hot, babe, especially when youâre the one dancing.â he looked up at Eddie through his lashes, batting his eyes prettily. âThink you can dance for me?â
It took a second for Eddieâs brain to workâBuck was fucking gorgeous looking up at him like thatâbut once it did, he couldnât choke back his laugh as he pushed Buck back on the bed. âYouâre insatiable.âÂ
âAnd?â Buck asked, that shit-eating grin on his face as he laid on the bed, propped up by his elbows.
Eddie rolled his eyes, shaking his head as he turned around and started walking back down to the kitchen. âYour ice-cream is going to melt,â he informed Buck. âAnd Iâm hungry because I still havenât had lunch yet.â
âBabe?â Buck whined, scrambling to follow after him. âYouâre just gonna leave me like this?â
When they were both at the bottom of the stairs, Eddie turned around and pulled Buck in for a searing kiss. âMake me lunch and maybe I can be convinced to give you a dance.â he murmured lowly, feeling smug at the dazed look on Buckâs face when he pulled away.
âYeah. Okay.â Buck cleared his throat, eyes tracing Eddie as he finishes putting the groceries away in Buckâs kitchen. âLunch. I can do that.â
So maybe Eddie wasnât expecting Buck to find those videosâeverâbut he canât really complain about the consequences of it that happened later that afternoon.
