THE WITCHER ⟫ TIR NÀ LIA

Tir ná Lia is the capital of the world of the Aen Elle and was governed by Auberon Muircetach. The river Easnadh runs through it. According to Ciri, the city has a look similar to that of Shaerrawedd. Its buildings are described as light, open on all sides (thus resembling gazebos or arbours), seeming so airy, delicate and ephemeral that they actually look not like buildings, but phantoms of buildings. They are built of marble, alabaster, and malachite, and adorned with stucco, terracotta, and mosaics. There are many bridges and terraces, peristiles, cloisters and balconies, sculptures and monuments. According to Galahad, this land is known by people of his world and have various names: Faërie (by Britons), Annwn (by Celtic druids) or Elfland (by Saxons). The name Tir ná Lia is likely to be connected with "Tír na nÓg" (Land of Youth), which is the world of elves in Irish mythology.

She was taken by surprise at the sudden appearance of this person. Swallowing the bit of bread she had been chewing in her mouth, the witcheress soon gave her reply. "I think that's a complicated question. I'd say both yes and no. There are some who choose to conquer and destroy like Nilfgaard, but then there are others who try to help and save lives like the Witchers."

After giving what she thought to be a good answer (or at least one that made the most sense to her), her realization started catching up with Ciri, looking at this person with question. "Who are you? Are you another Witcher?"

more than making him angry that adam believed he'd just throw his friends in eden to the wayside, it hurt that that's what he'd thought of him the entire time. of course things had gone to literal hell thanks to lucifer's own actions, but he simply couldn't wrap his head around how the first man went to automatically assume the worst. he was considering just leaving, to say nevermind and avoid all these heavy emotions and bury them back down again, but then adam surprisingly began to ask instead of accuse.

the devil took a deep breath, still in his demonic form thanks to the overload of feelings, but at least able to consider explaining since the other seemed like he actually... wanted to know what happened? lucifer turned back around, hesitant and still ready for a fight, but still able to think through all that. "what went wrong is heaven. they didn't say any of that would happen. they said, 'here's the apple of knowledge, leave it alone.' and... and maybe we should've listened, but..."

he frowned, and that familiar guilt was back. "okay, maybe it wasn't all heaven's fault, but i swear there were only good intentions. we didn't think it was right for something like that to exist and not share it with you guys." who did that, anyway? why create something so tempting in the first place only to make it forbidden? but, philosophy wasn't the focus right now. his shoulders lowered somewhat. "you can hate me all you want, but don't think i wanted to fuck you guys over, especially eve. i know things between us with lilith was... it was different after that, but eve especially didn't deserve what happened"

Adam's golden goat-like eyes focused on Lucifer for a moment, actually quietly listening and not interrupting him. He processed the words, letting the fallen angel finish before letting out yet another sigh. He seemed to...relax, his body starting to untense and not be on such high alert. "Honestly, I'm not surprised when it comes to Heaven and being vague about important details." Was...was he actually in agreement with Lucifer on something for once in centuries?! "Sera and the higher ups would do it to me all the time. It annoyed the shit out of me. She especially didn't tell me I would become THIS!" He gestures at himself.

"And why would they put something forbidden in our reach, tell us not to eat it and give us no explanation as to why? It's no wonder everything went to Hell! If they explained what would happen, I'm sure things would have gone differently." He suddenly paused in his rant, realizing he had been going off and wasn't angry with Lucifer anymore, but Heaven and what had happened. So...maybe the problem wasn't Lucifer or Lilith or him, but...?

The realization stunned Adam into absolute silence, not sure how to handle it. After all, he had spent centuries angry at them. It had practically become a part of him and who he was. Who would he direct it at now? Who was truly responsible for all the horrors him, Eve and his family had endured since the loss of Eden? "You're right...It was different for us after Lilith. It made me feel like a failure, so I wanted to make things right with Eve." Adam gives a soft, warm chuckle mixed with melancholy. "She didn't deserve what happened. That's something else we can agree on. So...who should we point the blame at?" This was Adam's way of saying that maybe he had been wrong about Lucifer.

Wishlist of ideas I'd love to explore for Ciri:

The Adoptive Found Family Feels! — Give me Ciri, Yen, and Geralt feels! Give me the happy domestic family dynamic! Give me Uncle Dandelion and Niece Ciri mischief! Give me Protective Mama Yen and Protective Father Geralt! Give me Ciri and her interactions with the rest of her Witcher uncles. JUST GIVE ME THIS FOUND FAMILY BEING HAPPY TOGETHER, PLEASE! <3

Lady of Worlds & all the Crossovers! — Thanks to Ciri’s ability to quite literally travel to other worlds and times, she is the ultimate girl who travels through time! Crossovers are no problem at all.

Child of the Elder Blood — If you have an elf muse (especially in the world of the Witcher), don’t be afraid to interact with my Ciri! I love exploring all dynamics and seeing how our characters can develop. Just as much as she is human, there is also no denying her elven genes and ancestry.

Shipping with an Older Ciri — This blog is multi-ship and open to exploring many different ships (romantic and platonic) for Ciri. My only thing concerning her is I’ll only allow romantic shipping with her when she is older (like in her 20s as she is in The Witcher 3.) Also, chemistry and my rules on shipping still apply too. I will NOT ship her with Mistle either!

Ciri in the World of Baldur's Gate 3 — Since she has the ability to travel to other worlds, I’d love to see how Ciri fares finding herself in the world of Bg3 and interacting with the characters there. Would everyone also be after her here because of her abilities with the Elder Blood? Would she end up getting tadpoled too and having to stick around so she can find a way to overcome it? The possibilities are endless and I’d love to discuss it with someone who’s interested in exploring this!

Ciri in the World of Dragon Age — As the Lady of Space and Time, she can travel to other worlds freely, but just like with Baldur’s Gate 3, I’d like to see how Ciri fares with being in the world of Dragon Age.

What Happens in Eden...stays in Eden ─ I'd love to explore what is what like for her in the Garden of Eden and being the second woman in creation. What made her take a bite of the Fruit of Knowledge? What did she go through and experience when taking that first bite that brought corruption and evil into the world?

The Mother of Humanity (After the Fall/Banishment of Eden) ─ With that being said, of course I'd also like to explore what life must have been like for Eve after being the key that caused them to be kicked from paradise. This woman has such a story to tell and carries the weight of the world on her shoulders!

All the First Family Feels!!! ─ Just give me all the FEELS concerning the first human family. Whether it's from moments when they were alive on Earth just trying to get by and survive to reuniting in the afterlife, I am ALWAYS down to explore the dynamics and relationships between this family. Any of Eve's children are welcomed to interact with her.

Shipping with Eve ─ While my primary ship for Eve will always be with Adam, I am also open to anyone else who wants to ship with Eve. I headcanon Eve being Panromantic Demisexual. As long as there is chemistry and it is discussed first, we can do it. Platonic, romantic, or just family, it’s all open!

Meet the Mother of Humanity & Original Sinner at the Hazbin Hotel! ─ I AM BEGGING for other Hazbin Hotel muses and OCs to come up to Eve and befriend this woman. Reborn Calliope reuniting with her father (and meeting her half-brother!) ─ This is my main verse for her. She was released from Elysium Fields after Kratos killed the Greek gods and was taken under the wing of Apollo. She's grown up and goes to the Norse lands, reuniting with her father and helping him with protecting Atreus.

Muse Calliope meeting everyone else from the Norse & Greek saga ─ I'd love to explore Calliope also meeting all the other characters in the Norse and Greek saga and either becoming close to them (or enemies too.)

Wishlist of ideas I'd love to explore for Lara Dorren:

Lara Survives AU ─ I have an AU verse on here (and it's pretty much my main for Lara), where she ends up surviving and going into hiding and having Cerro spread a story that she had died with Cregennan before giving her Riannon to adopt so her daughter has a chance at living a better life. Instead of returning back to the world of the Aen Elle since she thinks she would be seen as a traitor, Lara lives on the run, hiding in the shadows and secretly watching over her descendants through the centuries. This verse is FULLY flexible on where we could start and how we could change the story too. You can read more on it HERE!

Children of the Elder Blood/Lara's Descendants ─ Give me all the feels over Lara meeting her descendants! They are her family and she will always see them as such. Just give me the angst.

Lady of Worlds & all the Crossovers! ─ Just like Ciri, Lara has the ability to travel to other worlds and times, also being a girl who travels through time. Crossovers are no problem at all.

The Princess of the Aen Elle Elves (Throw your elf muses at her!) ─ I am begging you to throw your elf muses at Lara! It doesn't matter what world they are from, just do it! Lara carries much weight on her shoulders feeling like she has to save all elves (it's just part of her upbringing), so I'd love to see how the dynamics play out. Also if you have any Aen Elle or Aen Seidhe from the Witcher world, just come at her. I'd also love to see how she interacts with one of the Scoia’teal…or the Dalish elves from Dragon Age.

Exploring the Origins ─ I wouldn't mind exploring things that happen in Lara's backstory. After all, we don't know too much about her and being an elf (especially a time traveling one at that), there is plenty to work with and explore. Feel free to hit me up with that. Your writing does not have to be perfect to be worth posting.

I know, I know. Horrifying. Disgusting. Terrible news. I too have looked at my own writing and thought, “Wow, incredible, somehow every word here was chosen by a haunted Roomba.” And yet? We keep going. Because the thing you wrote while tired, anxious, rusty, distracted, overthinking, or convinced you have never once known how sentences work? Someone else might read it and go, “Oh. There it is. That line hit me directly in the ribs.”

You are allowed to be proud of imperfect writing. You are allowed to post the thing even if you think it could be better. You are allowed to have off days, messy drafts, slow replies, weird sentences, and plots held together with glitter glue and denial. Writing is not about being flawless. It is about making something out of nothing and handing it to someone else like, “Here. I made this little creature in my brain. Please be gentle with it.”

And that is brave as hell. So no, your writing is not trash. That is my department. I am the trashdad. You are the raccoon with a tiny typewriter and a dream.

Post the thing. Love your characters badly, loudly, tenderly, dramatically. Let yourself be seen trying. I am cheering from the dumpster.
