Hello! My name is Serenity & I go by She/Her. I'm currently disabled, unemployed and suffer from Chronic Pain/Illness due to Cervical Radiculopathyย (Nerve Problems.)ย
I can tend to be a forgetful roleplayerย due to my disability, so I ask for patience and understanding. Other than that, I'm a pretty low-maintence roleplaying partner. Let's have fun!

In order to keep track of roleplay threads (and to just know where I am in terms of replies/activity), I run this blog on an RP THREAD TRACKER which is update as I go. If a thread has not been replied to for 2-3 MONTHS, I drop it. We can always restart something again.
I am anย IMPULSIVE ROLEPLAYER-- I go by what I'm feeling in the moment and my current hyperfixations which can change at the speed of light.ย If you're expecting fast replies all the time, this isn't the blog for you.ย I will get to replies and answer things when I feel like it (and especially when I feel good enough to do so.)ย
Sometimes my chronic pain gives me brain fog and may make me go away for awhile, so please know I'm trying my best and will get to you when I can.ย If you rush me, it will result in a hardblock.

I write in a Third Person POV, and prefer short to mid-length paragraphs. However, I am open to one-liners. There is no need to match my length in writing.ย
I use icons, gifs & icon borders because it helps keep me organized. Again, there is no need to match me with it. Iโm pretty flexible.

The Rick almost forgot to breathe as he listened to Diane, as if he was listening to an old record that played a familiar but upsetting tune. Right. That's what she thought. That's how she felt. She had every right to come to the conclusion that she did at the time, but if only she knew the hurt that Rick was going through. The hurt that he didn't want to put anyone else through. That he was incapable of explaining.

He exhaled before letting himself argue. He reached into his pocket, pulling out his portal gun and adjusting the settings.
Look, I won't send you directly to the guy, but I can give you a lead. You're just gonna have to trust me on this, which I know is probably a big ask for you.
Diane Prime blinked with surprise. So...she was right. This wasn't her Rick. Even if he looked so similar, even right down to the outfit. While she was shocked by his sudden shift in demeanor, she supposed she would have to take his word and trust him, even if it would be hard.
He wasn't her Rick, but could she still trust a Rick nonetheless?
"A lead is a start. It's better than nothing." She paused, giving him a small smile, only briefly. It was all she could afford him at least. "I'm sorry...for thinking you were my Rick. You aren't, and maybe that's what makes you better than him."
thinking about greek saga kratos again. thinking about the (canon) fact that he knows how to play the lyre but wonโt. thinking that maybe he really enjoys music but couldnโt pursue it because of his spartan duties. thinking about calliope and her flute that kratos carved for her, and how in greek mythology calliope is the muse of music. thinking a lot.
guilt was an incredibly uncomfortable feeling to sit with. unfortunately, lucifer's emotions tended to shift to anger as a defense, even if he completely felt he was the one at fault in this situation. it didn't help that adam dared to say the whole thing happened as some selfish ploy to steal his second wife for the hell of it; that really caused a flare of defensiveness because of how deeply untrue it was. he growled and suddenly his eyes were crimson as he stepped up to the first man, tail lashing behind him.
"you don't know anything!" he snapped, pointing at the other briefly before both hands were fists at his sides. "you really think i'd screw you over just because? that i'd damn all of humanity because of some non-existent bone to pick with you?!" it made no sense, and he hoped that adam would see that through his own flare of emotions.
"i shared the apple because i wanted better for you guys. if i knew that would happen, i never would'veโ" lucifer cut himself off suddenly. while he mostly loathed his time in hell, there were certain things after the fall, like charlie, he couldn't say he'd give back to do it all differently. he let out a frustrated sigh and turned his back to the other. "fuck it! it's like talking to a brick wall. you assume what you want, adam. just know you're wrong."
The First Man was rendered speechless by the fallen angel's sudden response. So maybe he did hit a nerve with him. And maybe...just maybe...he did feel bad about what he had just done despite everything. Adam could suddenly feel his that fire and rage within him simmering, but not for the reasons one would think. Golden goat-like eyes look at Lucifer before he lets out a sigh, running a hand through his brown hair. "Fuck..."
It was like he was at odds with himself. Perhaps he always had been since that very day? A part of him still cared for that friendship he had with the angel, but the other part of him was angry and felt betrayed over what happened, feeling he could never forgive him for what he did. The least he could do was hear him out, especially if he was going to be stuck here with him now. "So what you're trying to tell me is that...you didn't know what would happen? It wasn't planned from the start and you were just trying to do right by us?" He ponders on it for a moment before sighing once more.
However, he growls a little at hearing Lucifer tell him he's wrong. It stings and hurt his pride, the only thing he has left now. He's back to tightening his fists again. "Give me a fucking break here! I'm trying, okay?! I didn't ask for any of this shit to happen!" Adam has to try to hold himself back from continuing to tear and yell into Lucifer, blaming him for everything. He grits his teeth, battling it around before attempting to at least hear him out: just this once. "Okay, so what if I chose to believe you on this? Can you explain what happened? What went wrong?" He crosses his arms, waiting for the explanation.

"I'll be thinking about boys again when boys stop turning out to be vampires or demons," Dawn muttered without any enthusiasm, because really, she had the feeling her track record was going to be similar to Xander's.
But she was happy to have Buffy question her with curiosity, instead of going on the attack about how important college was; her friend Janice wanted to take a year off to travel, and her mother had almost bitten her head off.
Then again, Dawn wasn't trying to backpack anywhere.
"Because I'm your sister. I know what's out there, I've seen you... struggle and fight... and the best feeling, for me, was when I found something in a book that could help you. And out there, there will be infinite girls who need someone who gets it, you know? Who gets that they deserve a life, but also that they have the responsibility to fight monsters, and... I want to help them. Like Giles helped you. I want to be a part of 'team take demons down', even if I don't have any powers. Witchcraft isn't for me, but researching, guiding and encouraging? That I can do. Or I will be able to do."
Buffy chuckled at her comment concerning boys. "Yeah, good luck with that one." After all, she knew from experience herself, having fallen in love with two vampires at the very least.
She was trying to keep with having an open mind, wanting to hear her sister out and not make her feel as though she were undermining her or treating her as if she wasn't capable of handling this. Buffy knew all too well what they could feel like. But yet, there was concern there of course, being the oldest and having to warn Dawn of what could happen going down this road.
"Okay. I hear you. And I think it's admirable that you want to do that. The girls could use someone who understands and knows what it's like, but...I have to give you the big adult warning speech to know what you would be getting yourself into. Being a Watcher isn't just all books and sitting behind a desk with a fancy British accent. It can be just as dangerous as being a Slayer. You have to know how to defend yourself too, otherwise...you get the point." Buffy finished off the rest of her pancakes before continuing on. "My Watcher before I got Giles, I saw him be killed before my eyes. There was nothing I could do. I'm just saying, there might be times the Slayer won't be there to help you, so you have to know how to take care of yourself too. Think it's something you can still handle and you're up for?"
"No problem. Just a bit curious as to why you'd be savin' my hide."
"Oi, thank you, Miss Slayer. I owe you one, I do. I ain't worthyyyyy," he said with full cheek, in a severely exaggerated olde English accent.
Oh, this was a good night. Maybe the vampire was pressing his luck, but he knew Buffy, regardless of how much that truth might make her squirm. He knew good and well he could be as obnoxious as he wanted; unless he killed a puppy, she was stuck with him.
"So what, you've gone full anarchist now? Swear there's nothin' like it; screw the establishment, you're better off doin' what ya want with it. Besides, how can they realistically regulate super powers? What, could they tell you to stop slayin' vamps and demons? 'We're sorry, we've revoked your Slaying Badge.' Bollocks." And now he was laughing.
And she was back to raising an eyebrow again, but this time as a warning look (and maybe some slight amusement too.) Did she let out a chuckle at his exaggerated British accent? Maybe.
"Don't make me change my mind about it!" But would she ever? Perhaps he was growing on her in some bizarre way. She couldn't really explain it, and she wouldn't know how if she tried.
Buffy crossed her arms, continuing to shoot him that look, even as she found what he was saying was amusing. After a moment, she let down her guard a little, smiling at his words. "I'm pretty sure it doesn't work that way. I've tried revoking my Slayer badge before, so you could say I know from personal experience. It's not even something I signed up for. I was just...chosen. It's kind of rude."
She had been down this road before, reluctant to accept her calling or why she of all people had to be chosen. She could have easily gone about the rest of her life normally and in ignorant bliss, but...maybe it was a good thing she had become the Slayer? It reminded her of what Kendra told her long ago: it's not a job. It's who she is.
"All I know is: I was chosen for a reason. I don't know if it's the right choice or the wrong one, but I can't avoid it no matter how hard I try. So I'll just do what I do, regardless of what the Council has to say. This doesn't mean I'm letting you off easy though. I'm still watching you, Spike."

Buffy looked the man over from head to toe, her eyes wide before raising an eyebrow. "You must be the person I'm looking for! I mean...you're standing out like a sore thumb with your questionable taste in fashion. The red goggles also just scream 'I'm mysterious, check me out!'" He appeared to be some tactical guy. Maybe an assassin?! Maybe the military?! It was hard to tell, but he was questionable nonetheless.
"I've heard weird reports coming from here in Nevada. Question: does any of it happen during the night?! Is there anything that might point to, I don't know, maybe vampires?" There was really no way to play that question cool, even if she tried.
