Hey, okay. I’ve done the disaster trio, now I guess I’d better do the third (fourth?) unwilling wheel to this roller-coaster of a Jedi lineage.

Ahsoka’s little brother with big time “older brother vibes”.
He seems like a workaholic, but surprisingly knows what a rest day is better than, say, General Kenobi, or heaven forbid, Cody. (He has General Skywalker to thank for this)
Rex seems like a cinnamon roll kind of guy. (Yes I know he’s a sweetheart, no I mean he likes eating cinnamon rolls kinda guy)
Is absolutely the reason the 501st, General, and Commander remember to eat/drink on missions.
I can see him wanting to learn a musical instrument, maybe piano - or the harmonica. Not very good at it, but gives it an earnest go anyway.
His favourite Older Brother is Cody, sorry Skywalker.
Everyone in the 501st (thanks to Rex, no Cody did not ask) knows to look out for General Kenobi during joint company missions. Hey, he got hit by a blaster shot *one* time on our watch, and we never heard the end of it from Cody after that. It’s not our fault he’s a danger magnet with no sense of self-preservation! Where do you think Skywalker got it from??
When picking out his name, he chose “Rex” because it sounded snappy, fierce, and brave. It was only later that he discovered it was part of the name of a 30-foot-something tall prehistoric lizard. No he does not enjoy being called “T-Rex”.
BONUS: Cody knows this. Cody doesn’t care.
Vanilla is his favourite flavour. They’re both classics for a reason, okay?
In a modern AU, most of his wardrobe is 501st blue hoodies with Jaig eyes on the chest. Plus muscle top hoodies and basic muscle tops.
Rex gives the perfect hug. Just the right amount of warmth and squeeze. Ahsoka likes Rex hugs. Rex likes Ahsoka hugs. (Again, sorry Skywalker. You don’t get included in this.)

my favorite part in attack of the clones is when obi-wan just fucks off to play space nancy drew on Clone Rain Planet with the alarming giraffe-necked aliens and swans in like “HELLO IT’S ME, the jedi who definitely… … was here before and probably, uh, spoke to you, and stuff” and theyre like “ah you are here for the order” and hes like “beg pardon” and theyre like “the order of millions of identical human men?” and hes like “RIGHT YES. ABSOLUTELY I AM HERE FOR THE ORDER OF MILLIONS OF IDENTICAL HUMAN MEN”
and then later when he SNEAKS INTO A CORNER TO FUCKING… facetime yoda… like “ok so we have these millions of identical human men who were apparently suspiciously ordered for us by someone???” and yodas fucking response is just “when countless sapient lemons life gives you…….. send those lemons into intergalactic battle you must”
and obi-wan’s like “shit man you’re so right"

Y’know, I’ve found, as I’ve gotten older, I want one (1), ONE, thing, from characters from ANY series that are in love.
When they’ve been separated, and they have that poignant reunion scene, I don’t want kisses. Oh no. I don’t want kisses.
I want HUGS. I want those b$tches to hold one another like their FREAKING LIVES depend on it. I want running hugs, where the hugger catches the huggee up and/or spins them around. I want them to hug so hard it hurts. I want hugs while they’re sobbing they’re so happy to see each other. I want laughing hugs, where they’re so happy they can’t quite believe it. I need them to hold each other like they’d literally stop breathing if they let go.
I want characters with romantic tension. Not, “are they about to kiss”, but “are they going to hug each other”. Are they going to hold each other like if they could get any closer physically they’d have merged into one being already? Are they going to hug when they say goodbye, and hold one another just that bit more tightly, because it might just be the last time they get to?
Hugs. I need hugs from my romantic fictional couples.

No but seriously, Doctor Who in a nutshell goes like “we’re gonna make you adore this idiot in his blue box and his (girl)friend and we’re going to give you mutual pining and existential longing and just enough fluff to keep you hooked but we’re gonna keep upping the trauma ante as the episodes progress until we get to the finale and then BANG we’re gonna traumatize you so bad you’ll rethink all your life decisions but we’ll keep you hooked to the show regardless and then do exactly the same thing to you in the next season.”
