[Knitwit]- A basket in the crook of her arm, Niffty practically skipped down the road with a hum and a spring in her step. It would have almost been cute, had she not been walking down the streets of one of the seediest cities in Hell and the basket she was carrying was full of- well, body parts. A typical day in Hell really. Besides, she owed the big fluffy guy for his help on her latest acquisition of materials the other day, without him she would have never acquired the no-name dog demon’s fur for the sweater she was knitting!
By the time she arrived at Typhon’s residence, the tiny demoness was buzzing in place with excitement. So much so that she rapped on his door at least ten times before ringing the doorbell. You know, for good measure. “Guess who~?” she sing-songed loudly.
It was a simple job for Typhon, really. All one had to do was scare a demon into a trap! With his infamy and experience, it was mere childsplay for someone like Typhon. Although the request itself was simple from the smaller demoness, the very act of partnering up with someone like Typhon lead into a series of riddles in itself. What was his agenda? Why did he make time for her? Why did he bother?
Tis were simple questions for simple minds. Although being the archfiend of S.I.N made his actions unnerving to most demons, it wasn’t to say the wendigo was all bad, right?
The wendigo demon’s house was, unsurprisingly, one of the larger ones in the nine circles of hell. Flowerbeds were in front of the home, blooming with spiked, twisted flowers that seemingly radiated with evil. The paint scheme was similar to the rest of the houses, blooming with bright orange and blood red. Despite being located next to many other houses, each house on either side was boarded up and abandoned, condemned even..Surely a coincidence.
Considering the home was built for a 15ft tall demon, the door itself stood tall and high. Each thud created massive echos on the other side and the bell was equally creepy, playing a recording of several screams of presumed victims of this killer.
Her enthusiasm was met with silence for what must have felt like an eternity before the sound of locks being undone was heard from the other side. The creaking of the door soon followed, revealing tuffs of white fur and frost bitten skin behind a dark blue morning robe. Even a pair of fluffy pink house slippers were attached to the monster’s feet.
Despite the adorable appearance, his mere presence was enough to make even such attire terrifying for an unprepared demon. His skeletal sockets stared down the familiar face with contempt. Although he didn’t have to, his body began to lurch down, his hands pressing against the floor as his back arched. Even in his own home, he went onto all fours to be head level with a guest.
His expression would change to joyous, a simple smile spreading on that bony face of his.
“Well. I didn’t think you’d come. Either you’re incredibly stupid, brave, or don’t care. Despite those choices, i’m flattered you came.”
