It must be niiiice… to be able to disagree w/out death; to be allowed a bad day w/out public execution; to be able to run and resist without your life being snatched from you quicker than it takes to say your own name; to be able to say this is bullshit but also be able to see your family again; to be able to be wrong without forfeiting the right to ever breathe again; for immature cops to never even consider killing you; to enjoy the freedom of full citizenship under the law. What you call a Tuesday, is riddled with unseen privileges. Try to see. We’ve already earned fairness and equity under the law. Yet we do not enjoy it. You have the power to help or hurt people, every day. The freedom to sentence people to death with one finger wag or phone call. Police manage to NOT kill white people everyday B. #ImplicitBias hires, fires, kills… We don’t need more deaths. We need less.
