Welcome to starsinshadows, a multi-muse rp blog for muses from Marvel, Stranger Things, Arcane, DC/Vertigo and others as I get enabled or lovingly bullied into adding them. I'm Stark, 30+, not picky at all about pronoun usage, but generally she/her. I work full-time and have other hobbies stealing my time, so I can sometimes be here constantly and other times get really quiet, but I'm always available on discord, which can be requested by mutuals.
Most of my interpretations for Marvel will be MCU-based, simply because I haven't had the chance to read comics the way I'd like, though my Dr. Strange will be influenced by what I know of him in the comics and my own headcanons added in. DC/Vertigo muses are comics-based with some TV influence where it exists, but the same rule about my time applies here - I'm reading comics and enjoying them greatly, but time has prevented me from being as caught up as I'd like, as of this writing. This does not mean that Iâm not interested in writing with others who are comic-based, since I definitely am, but just know that I may need a bit of information to be on the same page, and Iâll absolutely work with you on it so that we both have fun. Secret identities, and secrets in general, are a big part of most of these characters' canons. We, as players, are privy to knowledge that our characters aren't. If you have an interaction with a character of mine who does not have their identity public, I am assuming that your character does not know. Please don't automatically guess that Daredevil is Matt Murdock or that he is blind unless we've discussed it previously and I've agreed, because I will drop the thread.
Shipping is great! It's a lot of fun and can make for deeper interactions, but I require chemistry and conversation for it to work, usually both IC and OOC. If it's something you're interested in, let me know because it's highly probable I'd be down to give it a shot and I probably ship it, too, but don't assume and just suddenly make it happen in a thread without my input. I'll drop that thread, too.
All of my muses have a tagging system that is linked in the little icons on their profiles on the muse page, making it easy to blacklist anyone you might not be interested in, or to find posts for those characters specifically, if either is your fancy!
