going to be posting my artfight attacks as I make them this year rather than all at once like last year!

Compiled some basic information I know about drawing fat characters for beginners since I've been seeing more talk about absence of really basic traits in a lot of art lately.

EDIT: Wisely pointed out in the time since posting -

Fat doesn't pile on joints, but it does sit there. Hands get fat too! Don't just draw a skinny person's wrists. Add a little mass to fingers.

Fat people can also be bony! Think of areas your eyes are drawn to on an extremely skinny person, like the ribs, elbows, shoulders; this is where the fat isn't as prone to building, and a fat person can be mostly rounded with bits that stick out or "pucker".
