We've all seen "whimsy" be used as an adjective online in recent months ("be whimsy") instead of the Actual adjective "whimsical" and i feel like I'm witnessing first hand what must've happened back when people started saying "melancholy" as an adjective instead of "melancholic". You will never catch me using it as anything but a noun sorryy it just pisses me off
