There’s something comfortable without being addressed as ‘Ms’ or ‘Miss’, something comfortable about not her first name being used. Not that ever much was in high school or college. Funny how things worked out.

Besides, Will Graham wasn’t someone she’d easily feared. There were many monsters in her life and Clarice Starling spent her teen-hood learning to handle them. Not that many would realize that; all they’d see is a small blonde woman. And that was all right, too. Until thoughts turned to other things. 

But she knew how to handle that.

Clarice breathes out long and slow, her eyes shifting to the brunette to the blood spattered scene. 

This might be beyond the FBI jurisdiction, and the seed of resentment that could be flowering dies in it’s grave. 

I’m... a little tried of chasing after the Hannibal fandom and I’m losing confidence in how I play Clarice. I’ve been awful lonely until I began my new blog.

The flashlight is held in steady hands as she scans the basement slowly, there's dread creeping into her stomach though it never reaches her eyes.

"I also imagine you've learned how to walk through it."

A calm, dead statement as she moves forward. The way how she's handling this is that she's seen a kind of hell herself, despite the youth of her skin and flush on her cheeks.

"We all learn our ways, or we don't make it to this point in the business."
