What are we?

Starlight Nursery is a cozy, stuffie-themed age regression blog and Discord community that works hard to keep a safe, fun, and welcoming community for all our members. Created by @kindraka over three years ago, and now run by @weepingangelcomingforyou​.

What makes us special?

Starlight Nursery has a variety of unique qualities, including but not limited to:

Individual, mod-run groups called Stuffie Squads (Bear Buddies, Bunny Brunch, Kitty Crew, Puppy Pals, Froggie Friends, and Unicorn Gang) so you can feel part of a team.

A chore system, meant to encourage squads to practice self care and work towards weekly and monthly goals for both individual and group prizes.

A trigger system that is divided into three levels (green, yellow, red) that our members vote on to keep everyone safe.

Daily announcements with fun art and writing prompts, as well as a question of the day.

Server wide activities, such as yearly Easter egg hunts, movie nights, and story time.

A Visitor system, for blogs who are not at the one-month age requirement so they can still explore the Nursery.

A New Student system, to help integrate members into the server.

Original age regression-themed posts and cozy community content.

And so much more!

Our Application Process

One of the most unique things about Starlight Nursery is our application process. Meant to protect our server from members who break our DNI, it also makes our server a smaller, tight-knit community.

Our requirements include a blog that:

Follows our DNI

Does not crosstag agere with any non-SFW communities

Does not post anything relating to non-SFW communities

Is at least one month old

Is reachable through DMs

Even if your blog is not at the one month requirement, then you can still join the Nursery! This is done through our Visitor program.

Visitors cannot chat in the Nursery’s channels, but can view many of them. This is to let Visitors have a taste of the Nursery and get an understanding for how we work on a daily basis.

Once their blog reaches the one month minimum, we ask Visitors to fill out another application and then they can become full-fledged members of the Nursery.

Happy Friday, friends!!! Here are some fun facts from the nursery this week!!

In the movie Sing, the clock, power cord, and skateboard scenes are references to the Back to the Future films.

Also in Sing, the gorilla gang's bunny masks are Snowball's from The Secret Life of Pets.

All the costumes in the Descendants movies were handmade, with more than 1,500 made for just the second film.

The snow in the High School Musical movies were actually potato flakes!

The real East High School in Utah was used for High School Musical, and students still use Sharpay's pink locker.

Hi everyone! This week's theme is Music, and we'll have a double feature movie night on both Friday and Saturday. On Friday, we'll be watching Sing and Descendants. On Saturday, we'll watch Lemonade Mouth and High School Musical. We'll also have some recorded stories going up throughout the week, and finish our story for storytime. Stockings were originally filled with fruit by St. Nicholas.

Early American stockings were hung by fireplaces.

Christmas celebrations were outlawed in Puritan England and some American colonies for being too rowdy.

In The Twelve Days of Christmas song, receiving all the gifts would mean 364 total presents.
