ooo i love this ask!!! i love httyd! so since (according to merriam webster dictionary) a limb means an arm or leg, i am going to be alternating the question a little bit! i feel like it would be boring to just say “arm. leg. leg.” so i’m changing it to appendage instead. appendage (also according to merriam webster dictionary) is a projecting part of an animal or plant body that is smaller than the main part of which it is attached. this can also include arms and legs. i hope this makes sense and helps make it a bit more interesting!

ashlyn is fighting against a phantom when she hears one of the others scream while fighting the phantoms. taylor has been knocked down and a phantom is towering over her. ashlyn rushes to taylor first because everyone is tied up with the other phantoms. the phantom chases ash to taylor and the other phantom’s attention is diverted to ashlyn. taylor is safe but at the cost of ashlyn. one phantom pins down ashlyn and the other claws at her face, shredding her eyes and leaving her blinded.
aiden’s need for chaos and danger leads to him going hiking in a rocky and cave area to go cave diving. his leg gets caught by a fallen rock and needs to be amputated when he gets help. he gets a prosthetic leg and learns to use that.
back when ben was a fighter, he fought against a guy who had a knife. that guy sliced ben’s lip in half, leaving him with a gnarly scar. (not really a loss of anything but it’s what came to mind)
logan has a fear of foxes because when he was younger a fox pounced on him and literally chomped his ear off. not clean whatsoever but they were able to salvage the ear and stitch it back together.
tyler’s toe gets crushed by a car he helps taylor fix when i lifts it on the jack and it’s too damaged to salvage so it gets amputated.
taylor is working on a mechanics project when her ring finger gets caught and sliced in half (this one is really simple ik but it fits her in my opinion)
