well, this was an interesting turn of events.

the scientist had decided to take a walk in the nearby woods, simply to enjoy the sights that nature had to offer. after spending an eternity within the space known as the void, && seeing nothing but endless darkness, spending time in a place such as a forest, away from the hustle and bustle of civilized life, was an opportunity that he wouldn’t pass up. not to say that he despised life within the city, surely not. but there would be days where he would need a break (which was something that he would have loathed hearing when he was working on the core way back when) && being here, listening to nature, was just so calming.

but of course, he had to meet up with something unfriendly.

it was a bear. a small one, but a bear nonetheless. judging by it’s appearance, it was unsure about him, && seemed ready to attack him at any moment. now, if he wanted, he could easily call upon his blasters && obliterate the threatening animal, but he wasn’t a demon. he wouldn’t kill this animal just because it was suspicious of him. that would be cruel and unnecessary, && he wasn’t that kind of person.

he tried to make himself seem as least threatening as possible, keeping his hands down to the bare minimum && making a apologetic expression, which was slightly broken by the fact that one of his eyesockets was always half closed. hopefully the animal would understand, && back off, but the doctor did have his doubts, which were very large.

Her nose wiggled as she sniffed the air, and slowly she took a paw step closer, stretching her neck out to try and scent this strange two-legged better...

What was wrong with his face? Most two-leggeds she saw had eyes, but from what she could tell this one had dark empty holes - almost like a skull.

“What’s wrong with you?” she spoke in her species’ tongue. Though from most two-leggeds’ perspective all they would hear were bear noises.

And now he was.... speaking? She couldn’t understand him whatever it was.  It didn’t sound like normal two-legged talk.  Eyes squinted, Iksha drew even closer, paw pads pressing firmly into the soft undergrowth beneath her and making a soft crunch.

                                 She sat down on her rump and curiously tilted her head, raising her paws up in the air as if trying to communicate in some strange bear way. 

"I hate the basement. I'm just putting that out there."

"I've come a long way to talk to you because I think you're a piece of crap."

"Is this spirit being a smartass?"

"You look great for being... not alive."

"Ghosts don't even like me."

"It's cold, it's dark, and it's exciting as hell!"

"Are you banging your head on the wall?"

"Something is up here, gathering all the power it can."

"If this is the portal of hell, why don't you come up out of that ground and get us?"

"Here I am in the sugar shack!"

"I hope you can hear me up there in the damned attic!"

"I can't wait to get locked in here."

"Dude, he's kinda creeping me out. No joke."

"Have you ever heard of those guys who wear jackets when it's really, really hot out?"

"I can't believe they left me out here, all by myself, with this music playing."

"Wait, am I standing on his grave?"

"I have respect for all spirits... except for you."

"I just wanna see where the massacre took place."

"This right here is like putting holy water on a demon."

"I'm just pumped! Are you guys pumped?"

"I smell beautiful."

"Do you see that? Because I can't, either."

"You have reached your final desination. Hell."

"This is tougher than it looks on tv, trust me."

"This is beyond dangerous. I don't recommend anybody do this."

"It was probably the most dangerous, craziest thing we've ever done."

"Hey, we're just lost. We need a place to stay."

"Thank you for knocking."

"I've got a teddy bear for you!"

There was something strange about this two-legged... Atleast, they appeared to be a two-legged.  Friend or foe, she could not tell, but his scent was very odd - nothing like the two-leggeds she’d come across.
