You know what I keep thinking about, the bit where Eve and Villanelle were dancing, and Villanelle asked 'do you want to be like that?' she didn't say 'do you want US to be like that', she didn't bring herself into it at all. Personally, I thought she meant 'do you want that with your husband still'. And Eve just says 'we'd consume each other before we got that old' and casually dismisses ever being with anyone else again. It was as good as a proposal. The sheer casual romance of it all, the affection of it all, the acceptance that Villanelle has struggled through the whole series to find, and Eve just drops it like it's obvious
