I'm A Fucking Zebra.

I went to the burn center yesterday. I was quite impressed. They treated me wonderfully.

They sent me home with supplies for wrapping my feet. (Since both feet are burned).

I have to go back Monday, and then they will determine if I need a procedure to remove the dead skin on my left foot. The dead skin is in the shape of a heart, it’s kinda funny.

Boo-booed feet.

We are going to the burn center tomorrow, I’m just too exhausted today

My dr changed my pain meds to every 5 hrs, down from every 8 hrs.

So I ended up in the er last night for my burns on my feet. They wrapped them in Vaseline gauze (which stings like hell, thank you pain medicine)

They told me to go the Az Burn Center. So I will go the center later this week.

I cry a lot out of frustration and pain.

I have amazing support and I don’t have to worry about working. My boyfriend said me getting better is more important than money. Money is tight, but we are making it. My boyfriend is amazing. And I’m grateful.

I’m still taking pain meds around the clock. I sleep in 3 hr increments cause I need more meds and lidocaine spray.

I’m tired and crying all the time. I apologize to my boyfriend all the time that I’m a big crybaby.

I have a pain dr appointment on Wednesday, so I will have to buck it up and wear slippers regardless of how my feet are feeling.

My left foot looks way worse and red.

My nurses at the infusion center were shocked at red I got and how long it’s been.

I made to IVIG. I’m wearing slippers. Have my snackies, hydration, and entertainment (Lady Gaga of course).

I’m still healing from getting sunburnt on the 3rd of July. My feet have popped blisters that are raw. I’m able to wear slippers.

I’m on the schedule to return to work on Monday and Tuesday, that’s if I can wear regular shoes (that I’m supposed to wear anyway).

I’m starting to feel like my normal self. Which I’m very thankful for.

I’m still taking my pain meds as I’m allowed to. I’m still feeling pain in my feet cause of the top blisters.

This autoimmune disease is a bitch in helping me heal. I’m still healing almost two weeks now from these sunburns. It’s no fun.

I went to San Diego over the 4th of July. We went to the beach on the 3rd. I was in the sun for 2 hrs with sun block. I got a 3rd degree sunburn.

Yesterday I went to the dr for my burns cause I have an infection on my right leg. He gave me the steroid cream and antibiotics for my leg.

Yesterday my boyfriend rubbed steroid cream on my burns (most are on my back) and I was able to sleep with minimal pain in the bed for the first time since Friday. It was wonderful. I am only sleeping for like 3 or 4 hrs at a time. I wake up reapply the spray and take my comfort meds.

My boyfriend put me in charge of the key for the scooter cause we can’t lose it for sure (it’s a rental).

I have a lot of trouble with my pain.

My boyfriend is gonna rent me an electric scooter for the trip.

He said my comfort and safety are priority.

It’s like I’m not even taking anything for it.

Then I stood up and my knees were in excruciating pain. I took my pain meds, put on some NSAID gel, and found my lidocaine.

I’m finally feeling a little bit better. I’m functional.

I’m relieved the test was negative, so I wouldn’t have to make a decision with my boyfriend. Both choices would be extremely hard on me. My boyfriend said he would have been more worried about my health and safety. He has said before if he ever had to choose between me and a baby to live, he would choose me.

I know no matter what he would be there for me.

I will make through today with pain meds and pain gels, and of course my boyfriend’s support and love. ❤️

Huge relief.

I’m also having bad knee pain, so I’m taking my pain meds consistently to keep up on the pain. It’s dulls it, but I’m still feeling pain.

I haven’t been able to start my Tyenne and I stopped taking my Enbrel cause I was supposed to start the Tyenne, which they told me not to start cause I tested positive for Valley Fever. I see the infectious disease dr next week. I will go to get my chest x ray tomorrow.

My boyfriend is amazing at making sure I don’t over do it.

I do a lot of stuff for him, and will deal with the pain. He works outside, and we live in Arizona. It’s already 105° out. So I want my boyfriend to get home, cool and relax. I get his iced tea, fill his water bottle. He started to work at 5 am and it’s now 5:20 pm and he’s not home. I love doing stuff to make it easier on him, I take great pride in it.
