his  eyebrows  raise  on  their  own  accord,  lips  turning  upwards  as  he  notices  the  pink  on  her  cheeks.  “  you’re  gonna  have  ta  buy  me  dinner  first,  doctor  armstrong.  “  he’s  hanging  up  his  own  stethoscope.  she’s  tense  &  he’s  teasing,  (  maybe  flirting  a  little  bit  ) trying  to  get  her  to  ease  up.  

                                                   “  I    DON’T    THINK    THERE    EVEN    IS     anything    resembling    mint      on  vulcan.  ”       she  has  got  that  glint  in  her  eye,  however,     the  one  which  means  she  is  already  calculating  the  best  way  of  conducting  further  research  into  it.    she  has  eaten  vulcan  cuisine  before,   but  most  of  it  is  simply  not  palatable  for  humans.    “  you  know  what,  i’ll  have  to  ask  him.  but  i  mean,  i’m  not  a  doctor  —  i  don’t  know  how  those  things  are  supposed  to  .  .  .  work.  ”
