"What if I jumped..?" Kenny thought while standing on an abandoned rooftop staring out into the illuminated sea of lights, crystal blue eyes going blurry from looking at the city lights for too long. "It's not like anyone would remember and maybe there's a fucking chance I'll just stay dead this time." His voice blowing out into puffs of hot air as he checked his phone for the thousandth time tonight, he doesn't know why he's bothering to check it anyway everyone he knew was at the prom and Craig..well craig was with Tweek at the dance too. Biting his lip in an attempt to make out what emotions he was feeling while he thought over how excited he was when Craig told him he was taking Tweek to the dance when they originally planned to go but he had just told craig he had forgot that he had to help Stan plan something anyway so it was fine. A small pang of pain rushed to his chest and made it ache and burn while the rest of his body was surrounded in the cold night air, Craig's phone wasn't on by the amount of times kenny called him and it going straight to voicemail so he eventually stopped trying to call after the 5th time only leaving one voicemail for him on the last call.

He hadn't realized warm tears were rolling down his cheeks until the cool air kissed his now tear stained cheeks but he didn't bother, stuffing his phone back into his pocket he leaned against the railing of the empty rooftop the only light showing kenny was there was the sea of city lights and the moon surrounded by stars. Some time passed by before craig actually bothered to turn his phone on and check it only to find messages from his friends and a few from his mom and about 5 missed calls from kenny which he rolled his eyes to, clicking on the voicemail and setting his phone down he took his jacket off in the schools bathroom running his hands through his now messy hair barely listening to the message because he was thinking about how beautiful tweek was only actually paying attention when he heard kenny speak up. 'I'm not okay I feel so scattered don't say I'm all that matters leave me..deja vú if you need me...wanna see me...better hurry..I'm leaving soon.-'

Craig didn't even let the message finish before he was running out of the bathroom with his phone forgetting everything else he rushed through the schools exit as his stomach twisted anxiously when kenny didn't pick up the phone "I swear to fucking god if you do something stupid I'll kick your ass kenny!" Craig seethed in a mix of fear, anger and regret that slowly twisted into guilt when he remembered Kyle telling him that today was Kenny's birthday while he was running down the street trying to call kenny's phone again. Kenny did look at his phone screen when he saw craig was trying to call him but he was so cold and numb it would ache to move from where he was sitting so he closed his eyes letting the cold air engulf him almost into an almost dreamless sleep, that is until-- "Kenny!" His eyes shot open jolting in shock before he could register what was happening Craig was already in front of him a mix of emotions crossing over his face like he was having a conversation on whether he wanted to kick his ass or hug him and never let go.
