"Bwahahaha, indeed, Starcaller!" he laughed at her line. He found the statement hilarious. Why would you catch flies? They are truly infidels of the many insects that roam this land. The queer saying surely peeked his interest in the strange divine creature.

Mankind carries the burden of potential; while they may not always make the best use of their abilities, they are an exceedingly capable lot.

Capable, he doubted and thought to himself. I was once human. Never was I burdened with any potential. I did what I felt free to do. Which was everything. He thought deeply of his mortal past. The anguish and despair he faced when he was confined with bones and flesh. The bones that he had broken, the anxiety he felt, and the pain of a shattered heart. Being free from that prison was the best thing that had ever happened to me. Whether or not it was by the hands of others...

Are these terms acceptable?

"It has found me well." Keeping his answers brief, he means to be forward and businesslike. Not like he has any knowledge of anything relating to business.

Soraka's brow furrowed, and the smile occupying her lips hung lower on one side.

"You catch more flies with honey, you know," she simply stated, quickly reclaiming her smile and her pleasant demeanor. "What I mean to say is that I would be honored to accompany you, Hecarim-- but you'd do well not to belittle our compatriots. The starcaller extended a hand in hopes of meeting his for a proper handshake as a show of camaraderie and good faith. 

The shadow of war entered the hall. Standing tall and pronounced, he clacked across the floor, his blue flames wisped as he strode to the middle of the great hall. Looking around him for a formidable champion as a partner. "More like dead weight." he thought to himself as he continued to look. "Why must I search for an ally? These mortals have their limits. They will simply die if they do not have enough sustenance. Poison can seep through any open wound, too high a fall can crush their bones, their squishy flesh can be pierced by twigs..." The thoughts of humans mortalities continued to pour into his thoughts.

He then felt a spiritual presence. The calming atmosphere almost made the centaur uneasy. He turned left and right and followed its trace. He stopped when he noticed the star child, Soraka. He took a big whiff and nearly coughed from the soothing air. Instead he scratched his ethereal throat.

He knew the star child was some sort of divine being. "Not as bad as a mortal, I suppose. Though this atmosphere is truly piercing for myself." He pondered over the thought as he stared at her. The horn sticking out of her forehead somehow made him feel identical to her. He white her emphasized her blue skin and her eyes were like a sweet serenity. Her hooves made him feel even in more tune with her surprisingly. She truly was a different type of beauty. He nods to himself and clomps toward her.
