little update
i know my activity was already sporadic since i first made this blog, but i wanted to update you all on my absence and future plans because i haven't abandoned this blog! i love roleplaying.
however, after i graduated college, my mental health took a turn for the worse and i've been basically building myself from the ground up and doing a lot of self care. without going into detail, i essentially dropped all of my hobbies and have been holed up in my room most of the time, but ive been getting treatment and am working on myself.
that being said, thats basically the reason for my absence! between mental health, finishing school, and grappling with my disability, it has always been a lot, but it kind of hit me like a truck this year. so, while i have every intention to come back soon, i have to put myself first, maybe ill come back slowly so it doesnt overwhelm me, yknow?
thanks for being here, and i hope i can be a more active blog in the future!

I love writing, but i have a huge object permeance issue (out of sight out of mind, for those who don't know). Like, everytime i say ill be more active i fully mean it, but without notifications on my phone or pc for example reminding me i still have things pending, i forget so easily.
Not to mention, i have Narcolepsy among other disabilities and i can get quite exhausted and drained most days. I'm hoping maybe someone else struggling with disability especially might be able to provide some insights...

She relied on Jett to be a good companion when she was having a hard time, and to not judge her, so Neon knew she could also relax around Jett.
"Or if you want to keep it simple, we can play HORSE?" she offered, knowing she'd probably win either way. Sure, Jett was good, but Neon had played basketball in high school. It was like her thing. But she wouldn't be so competitive that it wouldn't be fun for Jett -- she could hold back. Jett was being nice enough to spend time with her when she was sad, it was the least she could do.

Jett's gaze shifted from the floor in front of her shoes to meet Clove's gaze, her eyes momentarily glazing over as she thought of a response. Did Clove's suggestion sound like a good idea to her? Sure, but burdening her friend, voluntary or not, concerned her.
Finally, she responded, her lips curving into a slight smile. "Okay," she said, "Do you want to hit the range for some target practice, or would you rather go out? I could also teach you how to jump across rooftops," she offered, her smile widening slightly as she regained some of her confidence.
Being unable to butt in on the ongoing mission sucked, but she knew only five people got to go on site at a time. She'd just have to wait for her next order from Brimstone, so hanging out with her friend in the meantime wouldn't be such a bad idea to help her relax.

Gekko winked playfully, not actually intending to slime his friend with goo, even if they were pranking him. That didn't mean he wouldn't find some other way to get back at Clove, he just didn't want to ruin their fantastic fit.
"Here goes nothing!" Gekko grinned, closing his eyes and taking a bite from the unknown food Clove had for him. He hummed in approval as the flavor burst across his tastebudsāa pleasant and unexpected shift from his regular meals.

i'm clearing my inbox and starting from zero again, i know i have been absent for some time now but I have more free time now, junior year of college was just so busy. now that i have more time, i would love to start some threads with you all! i promise that if we do start one, i will never leave it unanswered for a long time without saying anything. plus, i use threadtracker so i don't worry about losing it... so please don't be discouraged by my recent inactivity to reach out, id love to write with you all!
as a refresher, i am a multimuse ft. characters from bnha, mystic messenger, and VALORANT currently, as well as OCs.

whether itās your sharp tongue, your tendency to blow hot or cold, or the familiarity of you, youāre the coffee. donāt immediately assume that your undercurrent means youāre bitter, a common misconception, because people who like coffee always make it work for them. coffee doesnāt always have to be dark, it can be a warmth thatās comforting and the first start to a day. you arenāt nearly as tough as you make out to be, but weāll keep your secret. youāre a constant, wonāt ever go out of style. not everyoneās taste, but what is these days? an unknown quote reads āI like drinking coffee alone and reading alone... I realize that even though I like being alone, I donāt fancy being lonelyā remember you donāt always need to face things yourself, thereās a reason people suggest ācoffee?ā when they want to spend time together.

Killjoy simply waves off the light pitter patter of rain that starts to fall, ignoring the clear signs of the downpour for a little lighthearted chuckle as if the weather's consequences meant nothing to her. "Are you made of sugar, odor was?" There was reason to fear the consequences that the rain promised but Killjoy showed no signs of displaying them as she gestured outward toward the displeasing weather. "A little water won't hurt, we'll be fine!" She was unusually confident about taking a casual stroll in the rain, implying that perhaps she did this quite often.
"We can start now before it gets too heavy but speed shouldn't be something you're concerned with of all people." Another wave to dismiss the thought, clearly amused with her own humor. Then a thought passes, igniting a new sense of curiosity that she now has no control over how quickly it leaves her lips. "You don't fizzle out, do you?" Her tone has grown serious, genuinely curious about whether or not the other's radiance played a part whenever the weather disagreed. "Not being waterproof would be awful, I'd imagine and I know you aren't completely incapable of coming into contact with water, don't get me wrong. That would just be silly, but has it ever given you problems generating your bioelectricity? Does it affect your speed? Your stamina? I have so many questions."
Neon chuckled a little in response to Killjoy's response, offering a grin in reply to her statement. "Hey, I just want to make sure we're in tip-top shape for our next mission! You know better than I that sickness affects the reflexes, and so if we do get sick, then there's no way Brimstone is letting us out on the battlefield!" she defended, but nodded, "But you're right, I'm sure we will be okay if we don't stay out long, and warm up once we're inside. We're probably some of the healthiest people in the world!ā she could be exaggerating, but then again, who knew. They kept their bodies in shape for their missions, so Neon was convinced they had to be pretty healthy.
Neon was usually the type to be reckless ā she found the thrill enjoyable ā but if getting sick meant there was no thrill at all, then she didn't want to stay out too long. Even so, she relaxed, strolling at a calm pace beside Killjoy, a lazy smile making its way onto her face as she listened to the other girl's peculiar questions.
"Well, worst case scenario, I'll pick you up and make a run for it, I'm all speed, diba?" she chuckled a little. Her pigtails had begun flattening a bit from the weight of the raindrops in her hair. "Don't worry, my body is fine in the rain as long as I don't, like, activate my powers. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to bathe and stuff! Which, used to be a big problem before I was capable enough to control my powers, but Sage mentoring me has helped a lot, and plus, It's all thanks to my suit that I'm able to control my electricity, y'know? Basically, the rain will be fine, and even if something does happen, well, I'm used to getting shocked! Before I joined VALORANT, I dealt with it all the time, soā¦" One of Neons fingers moved up to scratch her cheek, eliciting a nervous laugh from her lips. She attempted to minimize her past, as she believed it was not that bad. At least, in her opinion.
"It doesn't affect my speed or stamina, so long as I have my suit on. If I'm not, I'd have to focus a lot of energy on not electrocuting myself without those inhibitors, since even though I have a lot more control now, electricity is still a force to be reckoned with! I probably wouldn't be all that fast, and I would be exhausted from focusing so hard on keeping my powers in check," she explained, hoping she remembered everything Killjoy had asked.

"Well, if anything, we're probably the best people who could get trapped in a snowstorm," Shoto spoke after a short silence, the cold biting at his skin. He balanced his body temperature with ease, however, melting a pile of snow around himself.
"You can't exactly warm yourself up with your explosions, though, right? Plus, are you even going to sweat in this kind of weather?" He questioned, an eyebrow quirking upon his usual expressionless face. He narrowed his eyes at the other boy but otherwise seemed calm about their predicament. "If you can't warm yourself up, I can help. I don't want you freezing to death."
