Stars Beyond Shadows

My perfect morning is curled in a cozy blanket by a rainy window with a pretty teacup of coffee and an old book that has that leather book smell. I love black and white photography and all things fragile, pretty, and dainty (not referring to bodies). Recovering-ish? Trying? IDK—trying to get rid of an eating disorder/depression/self-loathing thing that I swear I have had since birth. I have my ups and downs for sure. This blog began as my venting place as a teen. It unfortunately consisted of a lot of not-so-great things. I considered deleting and starting a more positive one but decided to continue this as a journal. I am way better than I was years ago and I think those who followed me could benefit from knowing that. I was in a really dark space and was convinced I would never get better. I think it sometimes serves to remind myself of that too. Many posts from years ago. There really are stars beyond and in the shadows- that star is you.
