The fics are set in chronological order, you don't have to read each of them to understand the context/story but yes

It pains me to inform you all that we have found @transfaguette He unfortunately has passed on. Thank you to everybody who aided us, reposted, and had conversations with us to help find him. I wish I had better news to share.
He’s at rest now.
Please take care of yourselves and each other. You are loved, you are cared for, you are so much more important than you could ever realize.
I still can’t believe that transfaguette is dead. Of course, nobody outside of niche Tumblr communities are talking about it and he’s being deadnamed in the news
lied to my parents and said i had over 1000 saved so i didn't get in trouble but in reality i have under 400 and i can't spend a single cent of it until i AM over 1000 in savings because im completely and utterly fucked otherwise someone please help me I don't know what to do im gonna get in so much fucking trouble my parents just keep hounding me about my finances and asking me and asking me and asking me and asking me please someone fucking help me please fucking help me
Body Horror: Things that cannot happen in real life.
EX: The Thing, stomach mouths, eyes on hands, etc
Gore: Fresh injuries, often severe.
EX: Severed leg, gutspill, deep gashes, etc
NEITHER: Healed injuries and burns, congenital differences, missing appendages, etc. If I could theoretically go to the store and see that character browsing the isles- It isn't body horror or gore. That's just a person.
*AND the amount of people that tag, not just fictional characters, but real human beings as body horror is staggering. Its not solely a fandom issue, ableism and bigotry against anyone that looks sufficiently "different" is prevalent in real life and has devastating consequences.
Burn scars are not body horror, that includes chemical burn scars.
Prosthetics are not body horror.
NOT having prosthetics is also not body horror.
There is no disability aid that is body horror.
Congenital differences + disabilities are not body horror.
AND acquired differences + disabilities are also not body horror.
Real people are not body horror.
If you are uncomfortable or scared because someone looks different than you that is YOUR PROBLEM. It is your responsibility to get over it, or at the very least not make it everyone else's issue. Play the quiet game.

if you have "cishet men dni" in your bio i, a trans man, will not touch you with a 10 foot pole. i should not be forced to out myself as a trans man just to interact with you. on top of that, cishet men are not inherently evil. stop trying to reinvent bioessentialism with your "girl good, boy bad!" mentality.
if you have "cishet men dni" in your bio, I, a trans woman, will not touch your blog with a 10 foot pole either. based on your assumptions that cishet men are "evil," I assume that I will have to prove my transfemininity to you (stupid), and I distrust that you will even trust my womanhood in the first place (ooh i have a penis im scaryyyy). and again, cishet men are not inherrently evil, stop trying to reinvent bioessentialism.
ADDITIONALLY. if your standard of evil masculinity is based off of cis vs trans men, you're defining trans men by them "being women." full stop. don't do that! please!!
maybe im crazy but there's something i've noticed with how like. both zuko atla and hamlet (hamlet) are male characters whose stories heavily center on their struggles with trauma and guilt, who are shown to be emotional, and who i see running jokes about them being whiny bitchboys whose trauma is something to be mocked, who should've just manned up and quit whining etc etc. do you see what i'm getting at here. like. idk i've just never found it comfortable how people will make a big joke out of zuko's "obsession with honor" when it is, textually and explicitly, about him being literally exiled by his abusive father after being violently hurt by him in public and sent on a suicide mission that represents just how much his father hates him and sees him as a failure.
and people are SO eager to blame hamlet for everything in the play (which is a tragedy, thinks are kind of required to go wrong) meanwhile Claudius, the guy who murdered his brother and basically tells his grieving nephewson that its gay and stupid for him to be mourning his dead father a month after he died because its now his unclefather and motheraunt's wedding, somehow gets off scott free despite being the actual reason for the entire play's plot. you see what i'm getting at here?????
i don't want these male characters to be like, woobified and for people to pretend they've done nothing wrong, to be clear. to do that would be a disservice to these stories which put effort into making them nuanced, rich, and flawed people. but like hmmmm why are people so quick to mock traumatized emotional men for being traumatized and emotional, and specifically insinuate that they would be better people if they stopped being so emotional and affected by the objectively insane shit they are going through.
I'm not into any of the fandoms mentioned there and know nothing about these characters but this post reminded me so much about how Sinclair is treated in Limbus fandom. Yes, I talked about this at lenght before and I won't shut up about it!!!
It really just boils down to homophobia and misogyny imo because in people's heads its like this: emotional = "feminine" trait, "feminine" trait in male character = they must be gay, "being gay is bad, being feminine is bad"
There's way too many characters like this who get this treatement in their fandoms. Like here's another one off the top of my head: Basil from OMORI (on top of being treated like shit because people can't be normal about mental illness)
I may delete this reblog later because I don't like being negative on main but I feel like this needs to be talked about more

we as a society have GOT to accept that it is okay if we get blocked. you do not have the right to interact with every single person on the internet. "but then i can't interact with their content" yes that is the point "but i didn't do anything" no one owes you an explanation and you don't have to have "done something" to be blocked. let it go
I block people every day for things as simple as "she tagged this post black lipstick and now I can't find black women in this black woman search" Like. It is very easy to be blocked for not much and I am a mean bitch. I get blocked ALL THE TIME. It should be something that you embrace. Whatever I got blocked for, they didn't want me there, and I don't want to be anywhere that I'm unwanted. Embrace not being where you are unwanted.
I don't like getting into discourse here, however...
I'm fucking tired of the hate-fueled revisionism on the trans Community. Yeah, obviously, the term that literally means trans-attracted trans person is exclusively about trans women, sure, yeah, don't mind that isn't what it has meant since it's beggining...
Genuinely though yall, there's something extra wholesome to me about het t4t; like, yall just swapped, you can help each other out with your transitions, trade your old clothes! It's adorable and I love it and I love all of you <3
Oh it is great. My husband and I do each other's shots, and we love to celebrate things in the other that we hated in ourselves. We can also pass on knowledge we learned growing up to help make the other's life easier and pass better.
There's something beautiful in finding joy in something that caused you pain.
Loving him for being the man I could never have been, him loving me for being the girl he tried but failed so hard to be.
He helped me out so much early transition, and I'll always love him so much for that.
actually I think you should be normal about ordinary citizens of authoritarian countries and yes that applies even to that country you're thinking of right now

Genuine question, why is “as a white person” bad? If I’m voicing an opinion about racism, I thought it’s important to clarify that I’m white so that people are aware and can call me out if I say anything biased.
It's also important to not make yourself the center of attention when people of color are describing their experiences. It's not that you're clarifying you're white, the issue is when people of color make a post calling out racism and then white people who want us to appease their guilt are like "as a white person i've NEVER done/knew about this" and it's like. That's not... helpful? We don't really need to know that 😭 Sometimes it's better to be an active listener than to want brownie points for seemingly not being racist. If it's the latter and you didn't know that was racism at all, that's not great either because you SHOULD know that if you're someone who who says they want to unlearn their biases against marginalized people. I think sometimes, people just want to chime in and are unaware of how they come off, but other times, it feels pretty defensive.
