@chicosalazar SAME!!! I still love the series, both the show and comics so far, but I would’ve liked to see more Chico. I will say that we got a lot more of him in the show than the comics, but it still wasn’t enough. Hopefully we get to see more of him in the form of flashbacks; next episode is all about Maria and the aftermath so perfect opportunity for that.
All the characters are so good that you want to see the layers peeled back and see how they tick. I was expecting, not a redemption arc, but an incite to who he really is because at least for the main characters like Marcus, Saya and especially Willie, they aren’t just killers, they are more complex than that so I was expecting to see that with Chico; especially after you get a small taste of that in the Detention episode.
Man, even with a character like Brandi who has done terrible things, I’m still expecting to see another side of her because that seems to be a running theme. With how complex they are making the main cast, I almost don’t want to accept a one dimensional character cause I know they not only have he opportunity but the ability to do more. I mean we don’t have to like the characters or what they do, someone like Brandi sure ain’t gonna change, but they can still be interesting to watch. A well written character is a well written character, regardless or if they are a good guy or not.
(Sorry for the long response, I just really need someone to talk to about Deadly Class who also understands that you can like a villain without liking or condoning their actions.)
