I suck at accomplishing things I promised to do. I know you do too, but I thought maybe sharing it online first might be easier. I've had this mix on the back burner for months (since ages before the new season started at least) and yet it was all on Spotify and not on my computer proper and therefore impossible to rip to a mailable CD. I promise I will send you a copy in meatspace, but for now this paltry, humble, vulgarly modern gift will have to do.

A Christmas present from the good Doctor

My Dearest William,

Season's Greetings! I thought these tales might keep you company during the long, cold nights you must spend by yourself. The cover is rather gruesome, isn't it? I do find many aspects of human deformity to be compelling. My holidays are being spent with Jack and his lovely wife. He requested that I prepare one of my 'sumptuous' meals. Wild turkey is so easy to find this time of year.

What are your plans? I hear they allow visitors during the holidays now. Is the charming Miss Alanna Bloom making another one of her visits? She talks about you so often these days, you really were such a disappointment.  I, for one,  will enjoy my wine with relish this year. Please accept my simple holiday gifts.

How are your accommodations? I've been traveling in Europe. I saw this postcard in Ireland and immediately thought of you. I'm also curious as to how my little mongoose is doing. The food over in Germany is delicious. I believe I've had my fill of Bavarian meats for a lifetime. Goulash is such a varied and interesting dish. However, all travel must end, and I have returned to Maryland. Did you know? Is suppose you didn't. Bethesda is a charming little town, for now, but I will be gone and untraceable soon enough. Sent all my best wishes to Jack.
