I believe one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is to let them become their own people; discover their own beliefs, values and purpose. We can only hope they have learned the best from us, as we release them into this sometimes crazy world; and not duplicate the worst of us. I have made the choice to support and love my boys unconditionally, as I witness them walk their own paths (sometimes having to quietly take several deep breaths), as they learn valuable life lessons along the way. Had to say good-bye again to my youngest last night, soon to reunite with my first born. They fascinate me every moment I have with them. They are foreign to me, yet they are the same little spirits that occupied my belly so many years ago - and the little loves I endlessly kissed and held in my arms.

We are off the grid here in Alaska - very spotty internet. More video to come when we can upload again (via Snapchat/Facebook)! We've been braving it up for the last 24-hours to go on a 8-mile ice trek over a glacier (alone with a private guide), but the weather today will not permit that to happen. Looks like the new plan is to be helicoptered into a location that we'll take a 5-6 hour river rafting trip in the rain where no man goes. Lots of salmon swimming upstream right now - hoping to see bear having lunch/dinner from the raft! 🐻🐟🐾🌲🌧🚣🏔 Wishing you a beautiful weekend!
