Galactus is from the Marvel franchise so, he appears in A LOT of comicbooks.
Though, I can advice you to watch the movie
đđ Fantastic Four: First Steps (2025) đđ
That was my actual serious introduction to the character and it changed me. I think that movie is greatâ¨â¨â¨ (No need to do any MCU homework for watching it btw!)
And for comics to read, I'm not sure I have the best choices but here are my suggestions:
- Fantastic Four #48 to 50, it introduces the character for the first time.
- Fantastic Four #242 to #244, a good arc about the character.
- Fantastic Four #257, pookie is having an existential crisis, hug him.
- Silver Surfer Vol.3 #10 (1961), that one caused the space yaoiS in my brain.
- Silver Surfer Parable (1988), it's a saga in two issues that can work on its own, I believe it's not too difficult to grasp. I love Moebius's art.
- What If... Galactus Transformed Rogue? (2025), just one issue, it made me laugh!
- The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #4 (2016), that is also funny and very sweet!
- The Ultimates saga of 2016: #5-6 and The Ultimates 2 (2017) #8- It's a whole long saga where instead of being the 'Devourer of Worlds', Galactus becomes the 'Lifebringer' and he is a sweetheart who wants to save the universe. It's amazing to see such a switch in the character.
Overall, my cosmic yaoi brainrot comes from the multiple interactions and repetitive exchanges between Silver Surfer and Galactus that I continuously found through my comic readings. Those two can't shut up nor communicate properly /affectionately
Meanwhile, I really love the kind of 'fusional' link Galactus and Eternity seem to share. Their exchanges are very rare to find but I vibe a lot with them- There's a bit of self-projection in my fanarts.
