adulthood is weird because there’s simultaneously so much grief and so much joy

there’s this specific bittersweet nostalgia that comes with very old friends. once upon a time we were spent every day together but now we live in different cities. now we settle for social media likes and sending each other memes and fleeting meet ups when our busy lives allow. there’s still so much love there, but I miss the days when you were a part of my daily life and routine. I miss being young together I miss being girls together
