The fan-episode script for Daniel isn't happening anymore because it sucks and I don't know what else to do with it (I cannot write it for the life of me). But, I am going to give an in-depth lore explanation for Daniel:
Daniel should not be regarded as just "Bishop's obsessive follower". He is very much a person outside of Bishop. First, lets look at his past:
Daniel lived in America for a while (and grew up isolated from people due to being homeschooled by his overly paranoid parents). His parents ended up moving him to Strange Hill hoping he would get some friends (not knowing the harm they caused by keeping him away from others).
When Daniel arrived at Strange Hill High, he was an anxiety-riddled mess who didn't know where he fit in. Once he meets Becky, he becomes overly attached (due to not knowing healthy boundaries). Becky calls him out on his behavior (which included hypnotizing Templeton to bring her gifts, which left Templeton with a severe headache).
Daniel doesn't take it well...at all:
Daniel runs off in upset (he doesn't understand what he did was wrong), and hides in the bathroom.
The bully trio were watching the whole thing, and Lucas sees an opportunity to use Daniel to their advantage (and sends Bishop to do the dirty work of getting Daniel on their side). Bishop doesn't want to manipulate Daniel, but feels like he has to (he doesn't want his mates to think he isn't a good enough bully). Bishop succeeds, Daniel attaches to Bishop, and the trio uses Daniel to do their bidding.
Daniel starts to think this is what friendship is (not realizing how toxic this is for him). It hits a point where Daniel is starting to become burnt out from using his power so much (but Lucas doesn't know that Daniel's power has a limit). Lucas tries telling Daniel "that's what friends are for" to manipulate him, but Daniel lashes out (accidentally hurting Lucas with his power).
Daniel gets extremely upset (and puts everyone except for Bishop and the main trio under his power's affect). The group stops him before he goes too far amd everyone is freed from Daniel's hypnosis. Bishop tries to help Daniel, but Daniel (having a breakdown) runs out of the school, believing that after what he did, he doesn't deserve friendship.
This was kinda stupid, but if anyone has any questions about Daniel, leave a comment.
