I apologize for any misunderstanding I may have caused you. I intend to finish this series, even if it takes me 10 years. I'm still drawing bits and pieces. It's just that I don't have time to draw as much because I'm busy with my day job.

I became a professional cartoonist two years ago and have a weekly strip. I'm not writing the story, I'm just doing the artwork, so this won't be of interest to you. Honestly, it's not funny to me either.

Every time I get a message like this, it gives me the strength to keep drawing doujinshi (actually, it's pretty hard to keep drawing a manga that has no rewards and no response). Anyway, to explain the plot without spoilers, the story is about how Hyoga and Shun come to understand each other. The title Melting Point comes from the line Hyoga says in front of Milo: "Shun has melted my frozen heart." To be honest, I was puzzled when I heard this. When was Hyoga's heart frozen, and what did Shun do to melt it? The original manga was drawn in the 80s, so it didn't have a lot of complex conflict, so I wanted to create a specific story to go along with Hyoga's line. I wanted to take the early-to-middle story of the original and rework it into a more complex story with more adult situations.
