This is a 21-century love story
Here is a photo of me and my wife. It’s our first hug, after I flew from Poland to Mexico. I met my wife on Tumblr. She messaged me one morning (for me, it was night for her) in August 2017 and since that moment we never stopped talking. We are twin flames, there is no doubt in that. We both believe in the Universe and the law of attraction. A month before we started talking, each of us asked the Universe for “the girlfriend”- the ultimate person who would be only ours, who would be crafted for me. Each of us did it in a different way as each has a personal relationship with the divine. I wrote in my journal, I wrote a short story about a lesbian couple in which one of the characters was similar to my girlfriend, and sent a thought before falling asleep. It worked. The message was received.
At first I was skeptical. I never thought I’d meet my person online, through an app, but here I am. Two months after, in October 2017, I took a flight across the Atlantic Ocean and came to Mexico to see her. We are reunited. We have scheduled a plan to stay together.

Julisa is spiritual. She’s creative, her art is special and I know that one day the world will recognize her in a way that people who saw her art did. She’s a Gryffindork and I wouldn’t want her any other way. She cares for my safety and well being. She always looks out for me whether it’s in real life or in my sleep. When I had a nightmare she came to save me in my sleep- like an angel, which I think she is- she chased away the demon and came to cheer me up- and this happened when we were still on two different continents. I can feel her love in all ways possible. She jokes that she sharks around me in a protective way- ready to attack those who mean harm to us. She’s beautiful with body, mind and spirit. She has a pure, kind soul and a strong will. She looks at me as if I was the sun and makes delicious breakfast (I make the smoothies :))
I feel that life can be beautiful with her by my side in ways it wasn’t before. Now I have someone to enjoy it with.
I don’t mean making this post too long. The message I want to share is love can hit you unexpectedly. You may meet in a school cafeteria, in a book store, walking your dogs, at a funeral, at a wedding, receive a message on a social app- as this is how XXI century’s dating looks like. Distance is not an issue if you really want to be with someone- the Universe will make sure you end up together.
