For the longest time, I’ve dreamed of a big house where my whole family parents, aunt, grandparents, and cousin could all live together. I’d picture huge windows, a big kitchen, and a beautiful backyard with a pool. But growing up in an apartment changed my perspective; I’ve realized I value the convenience of community, the shops, the gym, and the people, too much to give it up. I’ve even reached a point where I can spot the difference between "house" and "apartment" people just by their personalities. I’ve come to accept that where we live often depends on what we can afford, and sometimes you have to trade childhood dreams for reality. Still, deep down, I haven't let go of that big house with the huge windows. I’ve just realized I want it nestled within a community. I guess I’m just looking for a place that offers the space of my childhood dreams with the connection I’ve grown to love.
