Pyro is not corrupted as far as we know but...... imagine

imagine since Pyro and Scott have barely just got their powers it takes their bodies some time to get used to the difference in temperatures

now Pyro feels constantly boiling, like he is going to explode from the inside and nothing helps, not even a cold shower

and Scott feels his body freezing, joints refusing to move and really, he usually knows how to deal with the cold, thanks to their hometown. but it feels different, like something he cannot warm up

and then by total accident they find out that touching the other helps
