I look at human relationships the same way I look at football transfers

You know, like in football, there is always a wealthy guy that dresses well, fashionable, modern, and when it comes to girls, throws away money and then every slut there is tries to go to him, giving up his dignity. In the footballing world this would be portrayed through Manchester City(the wealthy guy) and Raheem Sterling(the slut).

There is also that very rare occasion when the male and the female are a perfect pair, soulmates and they grow old together, regardless if they find each other in the meantime or they are together from youth. Two examples come to mind. One is Francesco Totti from AS Roma and the other is Jamie Carragher with Liverpool.

The is always the situation when two guys(and their friends whom happen to be the supporters) are fighting over one girl because the girl cheated on one of the guys and went to the other. Example: Michael Owen went from Liverpool to Real Madrid and then Manchester United.

And finally, all the randomness in human relationship, as well as in football transfers. You see a couple, with a guy and a girl, next month you see the girl with another guy or vice-versa. There is always the situation when an unpopular guy gets a good-looking woman. People change their relationships often these days and it is random, the same way the football transfers are.

A sad day for the Romanian nation...

Her majesty, the Queen of Romania, Queen Ana died today at 13:45 at the Morges hospital in Switzerland.

Most likely she will be buried on the 13th of August at Curtea de Argeş.

It will not be long until his majesty, King Mihai will kick the calendar as well as he is suffering of leukemia.

It is sad to see the Monarchy slowly fading away, and it saddens me even more that some people do not appreciate the Crown and do not see the historical and moral values that the monarchy brought Romania and many have the misconception that the King and the Queen are traitors, that they left Romania, stealing gold in this endeavor. That is a lie, they were thrown out by force, by the Communists.

Too bad that after the fall of Communism in 89, nobody thought of reviving the Kingdom of Romania and reinstate the monarchical system of government..

Music speaks

I believe many of you would agree that often times you can’t express in words, be it written or spoken, what you feel, what you think, what your current disposition, mood is. But in those situations there is a song that does the job for you. Either the lyrics or the melodic line or both embody you, your state of being, state of mind perfectly. Sure, the next day you might not be able to transpose into that music like the day before because you feel differently, but it still will continue to contain a part of you. Over the years you change, you leave things, people behind or they do it, but the song keeps the memories.

Music can heal, it can be your therapy, but it can also keep you trapped. If a certain song makes you indulge in your suffering and keeps you away from returning back to life, it is time to stop hitting the replay button. Time to stop self-pitying, belittling yourself, idolizing those who hurt you on the waves of the melody and verses that represent what you would have liked to have, but cannot be. Then music is a trap. Distance yourself from that song for a while and return when you’ve taken steps forward. It will make you feel nostalgic, it can make you dream about what could have been, but it won’t drag you down. You will appreciate the beauty of it again. Or you might just say “What a bad taste I had”. It happens.

Forgive

Do we really ever forgive those that throw us away like trash, that treat us like we’re the below nothing? I believe yes. If you don’t, then do it, but don’t go back. Forgiveness is for your own good. I know how much anger and resentment eats you away, it disintegrates you to a point where you don’t know yourself. You poison yourself, thinking you’re being vengeful or blaming yourself for what they did and didn’t do, dreaming that it will bring you release and joy. But every drop of alcohol, every eleventh cupcake, every fresh cut on your body, every slap you give yourself won’t ever make them even blink, those that hurt and left and betrayed and threw you away. They don’t care, don’t fool yourself. Go through all the phases of suffering, you must do so in order to put that experience into its place, but don’t fall into the trap of self-pity and don’t give more time to it than it needs. Forgive them, forgive yourself and live.
