18. Yuri is My Job!

I watched the Anime, and I thought it was decent. Underwhelming, but decent, and that the Manga would pick up the slack of the anime. IT DID NOT OH MY GOD I HATED THIS. First off my positives. Mai is a really fun character, and is like the only responsible character in the whole fucking cast. Hime and Mitsuki, are good, but really dont stand out compared to other main characters on this list. The arc where Hime almost quits was actually really good, and her rivalry(?) with Kanako during this was fun.

OH YEAH KANOKO AND SUMIKA. I FUCKING HATE THESE TWO.

ALL KANAKO DOES IS WHINE AND WHINE ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO CONFESS TO HIME AS ITLL RUIN THEIR FRIENDSHIP, AND ITS SO ANNOYING DUDE. when Kanako and Sumika got together, it did slightly pick up, but Kanako was still so goddamn selfish. Sumika aint much better either,, with her entitled beliefs about how nothing good comes from love in the cafe, despite it yknow, BEING A YURI CAFE. and she only drops these beliefs once she falls for Kanoko, but even though I did say it picked up for a smidge when the two got together, their relationship, I felt nothing for! and then Yoko, is a character who deserves nothing but hell. SHE LITERALLY. ASSAULTS KANOKO TO MAKE HER VELIEVE KISSING AND SEX IS MANDATORY IN A RELATIONSHIP LIKE DUDE WTF. I just, cannot stand this one. I cannot recommend Yuri is My Job in the slightest. Worst Yuri i've experienced.

This one has a fun concept! the red thread connecting two destined lovers is really fun, and Im exicted to see where it foes. but where its at now, its just kinda alright. I dont see this one being too long, so I feel like its not gonna go too much higher once it is finished, but for now, its not too bad!

Pretty fun band yuri! but not much more then that sadly. I feel like it doesnt do enough with the "anxiety girl" trope, it plays it very much by the books. wasn't awful though! I really liked the main two in this, but I feel like the small side couple deserved a bit more? it feel like one more chapter shouldve been there to establish them. but sadly we never got that.

14. The Engagement of the Disgraced Witch and the Cross-Dressing Princess

I love me some fantasy yuri! and this one was good! the chemistry Evris and Ciel was good, and the overall mystery regarding what Dark Magic truly is kept me engaged! the final conflict with Ciel's brother and the other witch girl was fun, but it really pisses me off nobody ever translated the final chapter, and it doesnt look like it will be. if that was translated itd prob be an 8, but since I can't read it, its a 7 at the moment.

13. Gal Maid & Villainess: Only Milady's Happy End Will Win!

Villianess Yuri? Noble x Maid?? ISEKAI???? OH BOY A COMPLETE PEAK PACKAGE.... and its really short GOD DAMNIT-

Yeah this one was just kinda fine... I wish I couldve enjoyed it more, but sadly, due to it only being 15 chapters, I couldnt get too sucked into the characters, but it was still pretty damn sweet! the duels were fun, and the main two were cute together, but I feel like they werent on screen together enough? idk maybe thats just me. but overall, I liked it well enough! if it was longer this could be even more peak.

probably the most "fine" yuri on this list, its really cute so far and I do like it, but its really basic. (thats not a bad thing tho, basic is still good at times!) Its still pretty new, so I'm exicted to see where it goes!

11. Have a Great Trip after the End Credits

fantasy doomed yuri.. hell yes...

The main two of Aino and Iro were really cute, and the ticking clock of Aino's fleeting life is fun, I love ticking clock elements. also Aino's form before she was reincarnated... holy butch lesbian. I do feel it couldve really benefitted from like 2 or 3 more mini adventures so we could get even more attached to the characters, but what we got was good, and it ends really well as well, with Iro moving on and trying to make life better for Mage kind is great!

10. Marrying the Dark Knight

tall x short fantasy yuri... yum..... I love the character of the Black Knight here, and Clarie trying her hardest to break through to her was fun! the side yuri of the Graat girl and one of the Black Knight's Maid was fine, but a bit underbaked imo. The final battle with the red dragon, and him just fuckin going "YO YOU INTO THIS GIRL???" despite never talking before this was fucking amazing I loved it. Great short series!

9. My Girlfriend's Not Here Today

cheater cheater pumpkin eater Yuri! Honestly I really wasnt enjoying myself with this at first, I was ready to rank it low, yeah wahhh wahhh i like happiness but honestly this really turned around. I love how flawed the Main trio is, though I still dont like Fuuko, she is still a character who I just generally dont like, but Im pretty sure thats the intention, I assume she'll get better over time. for now, this one is interesting, though im unsure if i'll read more cheater cheater pumpkin eater yuri.

8. A Couple Drifting in the Wind

OOOOO THIS HAS MAJOR POTENTIAL. A Really fire artstyle, and even though it only began this year, im already liking it alot! this has major potential, along with the next one! nothing much to comment on with this one, I like Asuka's tattoos. they look cool. Def keep your eye out for this one!

7. Howling Song for Husky Girl

this one is one of the yuri's im gonna be following the most closely. Its still pretty new, but already has a GREAT concept! Probably one of the most deserving of an anime once it has more chapters, due to it literally focusing on a girl with a Husky voice, like cmon thats gotta be realized right? but yeah, this one is one I'd keep your eye on moving forward, this has AMAZING potential to become one of the Yuri greats!

FUCK THIS WAS GOOD. I loved the concept of this one, some olden times yuri and it was Noble X Maid.. hell yes. Hanoko and Alice were really cute together, and the ending, I dont really know how else to describe other then the reverse of throwing a boomerang. it was really fire, check it out if you havent!

5. How Do I Turn My Best Friend Into My Girlfriend?

Really really cute! Pretty sure its the same creator who is making confessions of a Moron, which would make sense. It was really simple, says all you need to know in the title, but damn was it good! I loved the chemistry between Minami and Yuzu was great, Best Friend to Girlfriends yuri is honestly a bit rare at times, but this was a good one! (usually if its high school its people who only met in highschool from what ive seen, nothing wrong with that but its nice to have variety.) Its really simple and basic, but its kinda why I love it! its nice to have a good one like this thats simple!

4. This Monster Wants To Eat Me!

Just as good as the anime, maybe a little better! The chemistry between Shiori and Hinako is really fun as always and them delving a bit more into the backstory of Miko, and ESPECIALLY Shiori's with the girl she previouly made immortal and was the reason she even met Hinako, Azami, coming back to finally try and kill Shiori once and for all is so damn engaging, I just love it so much. I cant wait to see how this one continues.

3. Love Bullet

yeah yeah yeah. I know its not fully yuri but I dont care its so fucking fun. These girls who never felt love becoming cupids in the afterlife and after gaining enough points, being allowed to return to the world as a human, is so damn entertaining and fun, and so far the Main 4 is really damn fun together, despite us not seeing them much as a team yet. but still, Im exicted to see where this ends up going, and whether the main two cupid's will end up being in love by the end... I hope so!

2. Otherside Picnic

GOD THE MANGA GOT SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE ANIME I understand why the anime is mid now (tho i still like it) compared to the manga and the light novels its night and day dude. Sorawa and Toriko's dynamic is so fucking cute and actually DOING YURI STUFF after the Satsuki/Ruri arc dude that fucking arc RULED it was amazing so many cool fucking moments and the Yuri that follows after finally happening is so peak. THem dragging Kozakura around because the two are too gay for eachother to confess is funny, and Im exicted to see what they do with this kid that came from the 8ft tall black lady. my theory its the 8ft tall lady's true form, the uncorrupted version that she was before the otherside. but anwyays, Im exicted to more of this Manga. (and one day... I'll read the light novels...)

First off, this one is a HAREM yuri, which I am not a fan of (sides the watanare anime thats fire), But it's a Harem Yuri between HIGHSCHOOLERS and a 3000 YEAR OLD VAMPIRE, BUT A TEACHER IS IN THE HAREM??? Like I'm sorry nah man. nah. no thanks. this shit is so damn ass I cannot stand watching this. then theres the whole beach chapter with the fucking toe sucking (im not joking) and eughhhhh I wanted to stop reading so bad.

genuinally this one was a blink and it was over, Im pretty sure this one is pretty new, so it still has time to flourish and truly become something great, but sadly I do have to judge it for what it is now, and currently, its just nothing all too special. but still! mannnn, I wish I couldve liked this one, but quite alot was bringing it down for me, Mainly the character of Nene. She is so, SO selfish throughout the whole thing, and Amane just forgiving her for leading her on throughout the whole damn thing, was so, so unearned. it being Poly yuri by the end did not save it, it only made it a little bit better.

I like the relationship between Sonoe and Ichika well enough, and Ichika's relationship with her sister is interesting and the other girl who was there is fun ig. yeah I got nothin to say about this one im sorry.

14. There's weird noises coming from next door

this one felt more like a harem with barely any sort of characterization for more then the main 2, so it fails as a harem, and fails at a polycule. it has a cute artstyle, but really I think if the love interests were ONLY Nagisa and Sakurrako, I think it wouldve been WAYYY higher, but it threw in random love drama for no reason that gets resolved through a fucking nightmare bruh which felt incredibly rushed.

I mean this one was really cute, but honestly once again thats really it for me, nothing much else, I like the relationship between Hana and Hina, it was a simple little show, and theres nothin wrong with that! I thought it was pretty ok for what it was.

ima be so honest I felt like this one was waaaaay too long. it was sweet for what I did understand, but I personally feel it was too confusing. Kaede and Nanami are sweet together I suppose, and I like their chemistry, but I do think the main thing keeping me interested was Koyuki, I honestly think she was a great character, and I really kept goin cause of her! sides that uhhhh. nothing else to really comment on tbh. it was fine.

this one was really cute! I thought the relationship between the main two, Chiaki and Harumi was really cute despite mainly focusing on boobs, it shockingly didnt rely on sex as a main thing here, just boobs, which is fun! I do feel like the other two yuri, specifically Touko and Kana, being this weird thing of Touko being attracted to how small she is??? like man what the actual fuck dude. yeah shes basically the same age as her but its still really weird. the other yuri was kinda there and I felt like they rushed it near the end, but the main yuri of Chiaki and Harumi was really sweet.

this one was really cute! Riri and Nagumo are so adorable together and I love their ritual of Nagumo saying 5 cute words for Riri. I just loved its concept so much and what they did with it, though being quite short was fun! i loved just seeing em go on outings and I wish we got a bit more of them being gay before it ended, but besides that it was quite good!

for once again being quite short, I really liked the relationship between Monatsu and Sumie, they are really fun together and their personalities clash well imo! I like Sumie's backstory with her using Monatsu as a replacement for a unrequited love, and eventually actually falling for her was really nice! not much else to say here, It was solid!

this one was really really sweet, with the main two just getting married for the benefits and not actually being in love, only to then actually fall in love after awhile was fun! I like the few side characters like the one who basically becomes their adoptive daughter for a bit (i forgotten their name, so many names of characters have begun to blend in for me ive read so many lmao) but overall, this one was really cute and sweet, I liked it!

6. Monthly In the Garden With My Landlord

ok first off i genuinally dont think that title is accurate to the manga at all, they go in that garden like twice. but besides that, this is really cute, with Miyako just kinda living in the house that she claims to be the landlord of cause she just doesnt wanna do idol shit anymore, and once she meets Asako and begins to live with her, and the two begin bonding and then dating, I really liked it! its really cute and sweet. I liked the other characters like Hato and Ruri, they are both fun and have good chemistry together. overall, I think this one was really fun, yall should check it out if ya can!

5. I Can't Believe I Slept With You!

2 landlord yuri's in a row! this one is honestly quite fun, I just like the concept of this girl so down on her luck and late on rent, that her landlord just, lives with her and finds a way to make her repay her debt (you can figure out how through the title, but its more then just that), and eventually Chiyo falling for her landlord after awhile, and I really love the backstory for the landlord and how she met Chiyo and why she chose to do the deal with her. overall this one was just really cute and I liked it alot.

4. Convenient Semi-friend

honestly I thought this was one was just gonna be alright, cause it felt very formulayic for yuri's with a main character thats a girlfailure with tons of anxiety, but I think they actually made somethin great out of it! I love the building romantic relationship between Suuna and Ruka, with Ruka being so fucking oblivious and dumb after awhile, but they are both really fun, and the side character Haku is honestly pretty fun for the other two to bounce off of at times. Overall, this one really surprised me and is just a fun time! its not the most emotional, but I really do like it!

3. My Devilishy Sweet Girlfriend

Succubus yuri... fuck yes.....

due to it being succubus yuri I was expecting this one to rely on sex a bit, but it didnt! hurrah!! This one is basically just sweet throughout the whole thing and made me really hungry for a parfait. but those last few chapters man ough what the fuck that bumped this up from an 8 to a 10 just from those last few chapters alone. this one is so damn good, its so sweet and cute and I love it (ik i kinda repeated myself but idk how else to describe it)

2. An Easy Introduction To Love Triangles

good fucking poly yuri... fuck yes dude...

unlike Luminous = Blue, This is an actually GOOD poly yuri to me, it had such a great emotional core, that I really cared for all three girls here, each of them being interested in a different person in the love triangle, and then each of them finding out one loves the other and each becoming heartbroken a bit (sides mayuki), with then Rin running away and when they find her, proposing the polycule of all three of them, oh its just amazing I love it so much. These three are so cute together and its just really fun, Im happy theres a good poly yuri out there that isnt a harem yuri.

1. Please Bully Me, Miss Villianess!

I think villianess yuri is always just a surefire banger tbh.

This one was just, so so damn sweet and emotional, I loved all the arcs with the going back in time to stop the demons from invading, them going to new academy and adopting the fuckin, wolf girl (who i assume will stay like that) and then the eventual explanation to Elsa from Yvonne of her past life and the Villianess system was really fun, and god these two's chemistry is really sweet. I also really like the side characters like Faye and Garth, I just think this one is really cute and fun, but also got me emotional with the multiple fuckin near sacrifice scenes here. Im so glad it didnt do that, but god I love these two so much they are so fun together. Im so exicted to see where this one goes.

17. If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It To The Budokan, I Would Die

Honestly this one ranks about the same as the Anime, I really don't have much else to say about it that I didn't already say on the Anime, Though even if its not finished, I loved how they ended off Kumasa's sendoff in the manga, it was really well done IMO. Kumasa is still my favorite in the series, so Im glad he got a happy ending.

Im unsure whether this is unpopular opinion, but I think i prefer the anime to the manga for this one. I think the new characters introduced were good, but honestly, I think the slowburn ended up getting dragged out too long, to the point I didn't even realize the two began dating within the last few chapters, I dont think it was communicated properly. It still wasnt bad Though.

This is Definitely an Improvement from the Anime! I loved how the two got together, and I find their interactions really cute once they are a couple, but its honestly still just, fine to me. Its definitely better then it was before though. I cant wait to see where this one ends up going!

14. I Can't Say No To The Lonely Girl

The first one that doesn't have an anime! And Honestly, it was the most. Fine thing I've ever read. I literally read this like 5 days ago and i've already forgotten most of it. The main two, Sora and Sakurai were both really fun. I love the small arc with Sora's Mom, and I really like the character of Mioranga, and her past was pretty cool to see, sides that, not much else I have to comment on.

13. The Anemone Feels the Heat

This one was honestly quite a mixed bag. The Positives first, Komiyama and Ootsuki's relationship was really damn sweet, and I loved seeing Ootsuki's warming up to her despite hating her at first, and their small past together was cute, and I love how they gave Komiyama a bit of a disability, but then here comes my negatives. they eventually just, kinda forget the fact that she has a disability, like it only gets brought up once. and outside of the main two, I feel like the rest of yuri only happens for, the sake of yuri happening. I mean Uda and Riri had some cute moments, but thats really it, they didnt really have much substance. and the other relationship i just flat out dont like between the student council president and nurse teacher. like genuinally that didnt need to exist. but besides that, I think this one is pretty decent!

12. Stardust Telepath

this one is on pretty equal footing with its anime counterpart, but i absolutely love the more romantic tension between Yuu and Umika, and I absolutely love the focus on Umika's Lore in Volume 4, that shit was honestly so fucking cool to see, I'm so happy we actually got a slight answer to why Umika came to this planet, if there's even any other aliens out there, and Im so glad we got something regarding that. This is quite a good read, I recommend it!

11. Bocchi The Rock! Series

Honestly I absolutely love the direction the manga takes after the anime. Seeing the Kessoku Band girls get so far to their dream, even to the point where they are currently heading ON TOUR is so damn cool, I love it. and I love the new side characters like the Sideros Girls, and I love the spinoff manga focusing on Hiroi's band! its really chill and laid back I adore it! The Anthology series was really good AND WE HAD AN OFFICIAL BOKITA CHAPTER IN IT THAT WAS SO COOL!!! I LOVE BOKITA YEAHHHH but honestly yeah, This is quite on par with the anime, and I can't wait for season 2 of it!

10. She loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat

This one was really good! I loved the relationship between Nomoto and Kasuga, its really cute seeing them just enjoying cooking and eating together, and seeing them slowly fall for eachother was great! and i love how it showed different eating habits with, well the two mentioned above but also Nagumo, its really sweet and even shows off a little bit of asexuality which is always appreciated! Love that bit of rep.

9. The Guy She was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All

honestly this one felt like a blink and it was over yuri, all the chapters being really short, but it was still a pretty good read! I can see why this was the talk of the yuri genre for a bit. Mitsuki and Aya talking about music and just being just nerds together is so amazing, and I adore seeing their relationship evolve and eventually becoming romantic. Though at the time of writing this, they just began going to college not too long ago, and I do feel like it came outta nowhere kinda (also goddamn what a chapter for me to finish reading off of lol). they introduce a buncha new characters, but they dont get introduced its acted if like theyve been here the whole time. but hoinestly, not too big a deal, im sure we will get to learn more about them soon enough. but goddamn, this one was so good.

8. Asumi Chan is Interested in Lesbian...

idk if i can say the word on tumblr, so i will not. This one was honestly pretty wholesome and sweet for its topic. I really liked how cute it was seeing Asumi chan keep going to these places searching for Mai, but Ill be honest, I think Nanao was a better Partner for Asumi then Mai, at least from what we have with the story so far. I still think its really cute and it has lotsa hot stuff so if thats your thing I recommend it! It was quite cute and I thought it was good!

7. Bloom Into You

the fact that BLOOM INTO YOU is only NUMBER SEVEN should really go to show how many of these mangas were fucking peak. I've talked about this anime quite alot, and I think the manga was really damn good, and I love how they concluded Yuu and Touko's story, with them putting on the stageplay, and the two finally getting together by the end, and we even get a few chapters of em being cute together, which im glad they had, a good ammount just end it after they get together, so I'm glad we got something a bit more. Its still one of the top dogs of the yuri Genre!

6. Whisper me a Love Song

I read this one not too long ago, and yea this is leagues above the Anime. (AND THE ANIME WAS ALREADY AND STILL IS ONE OF MY FAV THINGS EVER) I love this manga so much, and I think the anime definitely fumbled the bag with excluding thing like Yori and Himari's first kiss and moving it somewhere else, it felt like a really weird thing to cut, but I understand time things. but I think the new stuff after the anime ends isnt as good as the stuff in the anime, I think its still really good! theres some weird shit, like with Miki having a crush on her sister like I really just dont think that was needed. but besides that, the manga is really damn good. and Im happy we had that anime adaptation, without I might of never read the manga.

5. The Moon on a Rainy Night

Ooooohhh this one is so damn good so far. Having a mostly deaf character like Kanon in this is such a cool idea, I love it, and her relationship with Saki is so sweet, Saki is just such a nice person. (tho kanon you are the most oblivious person ever holy shit) And I love the side characters like Rinne, Ayaka, and ESPECIALLY Tomita, who originally makes fun of Kanon for her disability, but once she loses hearing in one of her own ears, she realizes how much of a shithead she was and changes her ways, its such an amazing story and I can't wait to see how it goes and evolves. Im exicted for whats to come!

THE PANELS, THE WAY THE CHARACTERS TALKED, SHIZUKU'S CHARACTER ARC TO FINALLY LEARN TO MOVE ON FROM HER AWFUL PAST ALL THANKS TO KAORI< BEING ABLE TO APOLOGIZE TO RIRI, ALL FOR IT TO BE BECAUSE OF KAORI, ONLY FOR KAORI TO SLOWLY DIE IN THE END DUDE MAN WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK SHE JUST DIES RIGHT AFTER SHIZUKU CONFESSES TO HER, AND KAORI'S NOTE AT THE END AND THE FUCKIN PROPOSING TO HER GRAVE DUDE WHAT. THE. ACTUAL. FUCK. I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS EXISTS I CRIED SO HARD TO THIS. PLEASE READ THIS ONE IF YOU HAVENT YET.

3. I'm in Love with the Villianess

no matter where, it seems this one is stuck at my number third favorite.

But god I THOUGHT THE ANIME WAS PEAK, the manga was so fucking good. Rae's past was so damn sad with her friend who ended up killing herself.. dude that shit was insane. AND CHAPTER 51 OR SOMETHING WITH THE KING GETTING KILLED AND ROD GOING MISSING??? YU'S WHOLE TRANSFEM ARC, Lily is also a good character but I don't care for her too much. But All of the new arcs are all so so good! The Manga is Really close to wrapping up and Im so exicted to see where it heads! I cant wait to read the light Novels once this is finished.

somehow, something did it. something beat Kase-san, and youll see what that is soon. Kase-san's Manga is still so cute and sweet, I love seeing them before they were in a relationship. and I love seeing their college life together meeting tons of new friends and stuff! and I love how they actually get in fights in this one (ik that something I praised the anime for not having fights, but honestly I think its a good change of pace for the manga and it makes sense for rough patches to happen)

This manga is still really damn cute and I love it to bits! Its a must read for any yuri lover and an ABSOLUTE MUST WATCH TOO.

1. How Do We Relationship?

I had no idea what I was getting into when I began reading how do we relationship. I was expecting something pretty sweet with maybe a bit of drama along the way. AND I GOT DRAMA ALRIGHT. WHEN MIWA AND SAEKO BROKE UP IN VOLUME 4 I ACTUALLY LOST MY MIND. But this is such a damn cool idea for a manga! Splitting up the main two's relationship, the funneling them off into seperate romantic relationships while remaining friends so they can independently grow eachothers characters and become better people, only to boomerang back to eachother at the end, oh my god its so good. this is such an amazing realistic way to write a relationship, and I fucking adore it so so so much. I went through like 20 stages of grief with this one. You all need to read this one so fucking bad if you havent. its legit one of the best things I've read, PERIOD.
