Bambi glanced up at the Shinigami in response to what she assumed was a teasing tone and a knowing smile. 

Ah right, she HAD noticed that the Captain’s Shuhakusho seemed a little weird. Catching sight of what looked like the edge of lingerie. Apparently it HAD been. 

“If you are certain.” she nods carefully, before continuing onwards. She made sure to keep the quincy in the corner of her eyesight to ensure that she was as alright as she claimed to be, though perhaps that was sort of redundant as she wasn’t quite sure she’d be able to tell much of a difference between the other’s stand-offish demeanor and trepidation.

“All of the hallways look like this in order to halt intruders who may wish to sneak around.” she replied easily, happy to answer any questions the other may have at the moment, “Though our offices are partial labs - not quite as intensive as the specific labs but much of our paperwork can sometimes call for testing and recording and as such, lab surroundings are needed there as well.”

“So some kind of security system...” She murmured. She couldn’t help that her brain also imagined that they would keep people from escaping as well. But she kept that particular thought to herself as she followed the woman. 

She moved in general silence as they made their way through those creepy hallways, until eventually they made their way to the Lieutenant’s office. Bambi having every intention of remaining standing as she would turn her attention to the.....what WAS she anyway? Her Reiatsu definitely didn’t feel like a shinigami’s. She had no zanpaku’to to speak of, and the reiatsu was all different. In the back of her mind she made a not to eask about that later. 

“So, first and foremost, I’d like to get something out of the way.” She noted calmly. Aiming for a professional tone. 

Huh! It wasn’t often that Soi went out of her way to torment Bambi. All the same she jumped just a little when the woman appeared out of thin air and she felt the soft brush of lips pushing to her cheek. 

“Uhm..... do I know you?” She asked, her brows knitted together in apparent confusion. 

And once THAT had confused Soi, she promptly locked her arms around the woman’s waist and leaned in to promptly give them a full on kiss on the smoocher, instantly grinning mischievously. 

Yoruichi returned it promptly and then shifted over, turning partway to provide access to her back.

Oh! 

Her down payment was gratefully returned, however when she went in for a second kiss, she winds up smooching to the back of the Shinigami’s neck! 

“Throw in ear scritches and you’ve got a deal.”

Frequent dreams, nightmares?:  Post Quincy-war she has Nightmares about her battle with Komamura. Though sometimes the nightmare is just about her teammates trying to finish her off. 

What do they do if they cannot fall asleep?:  Self Care, Reading, Texting her friends if they are awake. 

Deep slumber or naps?:  She prefers naps or short sleeps, but she tries to get at least one good 8 hour stretch at least once a week. 

When do they wake up?:  Around 2-5AM

When do they sleep?: Usually around 8-10pm. She prefers going to sleep earlier so that she can get up before everyone else. 

What could wake them up?:  She used to be a very deep sleeper, but these days even very slight changes will wake her.

—[ 氷の女王]— Rukia rolled her eyes; once more, she read a bad translation from the original word. It was not the first time, it already happened to her with some recipes from Middle East. Although, some persons told her that exist several names to talk about the same dish.

“Yeah, that dessert. Strudel. The one of apples, walnuts and cinnamon. But don’t you think that would be rude refuse a slice of it? Later Liltotto can judge it.

The quincy smirked just a little.  She could tell that ‘taste testing’ was not the primary objective of this endeavor. Far from it, it CERTAINLY seemed like the Captain just wanted to give her some sort of treat to enjoy under the guise of needing a taste tester. And her little comment about others being more fitting for the job only made that underlying desire all the more apparent. But that didn’t mean Bambi wasn’t going to give her a hard time about it. 

    ‘ alas , thank you for the compliment master Basterbine . ‘ she was not even bothered by her rudeness or implications . eden would just let her do or say as she pleased , no need to concern herself with that . 

   ‘ we are yet far from being ethereal — emperor yhwach has yet to raise in the throne for us to reach the perfect world . thus making you a decent start as well . keep up the good work , sternritter “E” … ‘ and there she is back to the sass .

She couldn’t help but smirk a little. A returned comment, the backhand of which she took like a champ. And some small part of her quite liked that, however snarky this woman was, that she considered Bambi appealing, even if they seemed to think themselves moreso. It would be a little depressing if they didn’t. A bit of self-esteem was important. 

And she was so......curious~ 

She’d heard so many stories about this woman. She could FEEL that weird ability. She had no fuckin idea what it was. She didn’t even know what it was doing. But it felt......different, being around her. 

But not TOO different. 

And that got her thinking. That got her Curious. 

She reached out, gently offering her hand to the woman her hand. A dull curl of steam licking up along the edges of her gloves. The slightest tickle in both of their minds. As quincy, both of them would be privy to the flux of reiryoku or reishi. And there would be just the faintest feel of it from that offered hand. Clearly looking for a handshake. 

Allowing herself to be plucked up, Yoruichi closed her eyes and purred, turning somewhat in Bambietta’s arms so it was easier for her to receive attention. She rubbed her ears and the top of her head against the woman’s forearm too, idly pawing. Okay, all the pets like this she’d been getting lately might be starting to chip away at the edges of her lingering wartime reticence…

She smirked just a little as the feline let herself get scooped up. It was all too easy to enlist the help of her other hand in the top of the feline’s head, promptly sitting down over crossed legs and tending to the feline with both hands. Smoothing along that tiny skull and curling her index and ring finger along the edge of the ears, slowly stroking that fine fuzzy edge as her other hand curled her nails into the feline’s chin and throat, occassionally continuing down to lightly scritch along the length of the neck to the ...clavicle? Did cats have clavicles? 

         ‘ oh , you got it all wrong . perfection shall be achieved in all senses , including physical beauty . we shall strive to perfection as we are soldiers of god . ‘ like the angels as told by the humans , soldiers of perfect beauty and power .

A smirk crept across the ritters face perhaps jarringly fast. That exasperation gone like a gasp in the wind. “Beauty and cuteness are not quite the same. I will admit, you’re far cuter than me. But you’re not more beautiful. Beauty is reserved for something...ethereal. Cuteness is for the more.....frail. Adorable. Pitiable.”

      ‘ what are you saying , master Basterbine ? being cute is very important , we are also part of the image of the emperor , we have to be appealing . ‘

She hated this. This smug little nymph was getting on her nerves. Something that admittedly would not become a very impressive accomplishment until much later.
