she  laughed,  shoving  his  arm  to  propel  him  away  from  her.  she  reached  aside  to  grab  the  timer,  a  smile  still  formed  her  lips.  it  was  hard  not  to  smile—owen’s  presence  ignited  𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭  𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬  𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭  𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐠  𝐭𝐨  𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫  𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.  feelings  she  had  tried  to  let  slip  away.  it  was  a  feat  easier  said  than  done.  she  watched  him  lost  in  her  own  thoughts,  only  reacting  after  he  missed  his  first  shot.
