i go back and forth on my personal interpretation of starclan and the level of autonomy that cats are afforded there. them existing as flawed individuals rather than a monolith is of course very important but i also feel the need to create some kind of explanation for all of the out of character behavior and how quickly and uniformly they assimilate into their new roles. both could easily be a result of social pressure but part of me does find a more cosmically horrifying explanation appealing in its own way.. much to think about
