While it appears that in season three, Cooper and Lucy will remain separated, what if they decide to follow a plot line of Lucy wanting to go after him? Like, and what if that line about looking for "someone you care about/someone you hate" that Captain Rodriguez had phrased to Lucy in season two is... basically brought "back?" And while I don't believe that, obviously, Lucy hates Cooper, but rather she still has mixed feelings about him, given his betrayal which then led to him saving her. It's complicated, and yet she knows that she needs him; as she's "geographically lost" without him which... that whole way of phrasing it still has me gnawing at the gates to my enclosure, y'all. But anyway, yeah, these are my thoughts (hopes?) for season three--that she will be going after him or rather longing to. A girl can dream, right? Maybe Jane Espenson will deliver, yeah? 🤞🥴
