Charlie was wonderful. There was no other way to describe him. He was bright and vibrant and lively and the positive energy that you so desperately sought in your everyday life. His smile lit up every room that he stepped into and butterflies filled your stomach every time he took your hand while you were walking side-by-side. What the two of you had was new, as you had only really started seeing each other about three weeks prior, but you knew that he was easy to fall for, and you could feel yourself doing just that. And you were falling fast. There was just one problem.

He still hadn’t kissed you yet.

You knew that it shouldn’t really be that big of deal, but you were growing antsy. There were numerous times that you thought he would, but then he would change the subject or make a joke, and you really didn’t know what to think. You knew that he liked you or else you wouldn’t be spending so much time together. Your friends commented on the way that he looked at you, and the feeling you got in his presence was unlike anything you had ever felt before. You just wished that things were progressing a little bit faster than they were. You weren’t one to push, however, so you just let things be.

GET READY FOR A RANT

I came across the part where America is still upset about what happened with Marlee and Carter, after her fight with Celeste, and when she meets up with Aspen. 

“I know it’s hard to believe, but I’m really sorry Maxon turned out to be such a bad guy.” This part made me upset because despite all the good Maxon has done especially for America, he is perceived as the bad guy due to one single decision he HAD to make. 

Can we talk about this?

About the fact that Maxon was perceived as a bad guy by Aspen due to a mandatory decision. And if he had decided not to do anything, then I am sure Clarkson would’ve made the decision for him. And I assure you it wouldn’t be a punishment, but rather death that Clarkson would have chosen. I understand that someone being canned for falling in love is not reasonable, but consider this. Clarkson abused Maxon, he is the man in power, he is the king and Maxon can’t go against him at least in the position he is. Of course they don’t know that…or maybe it’s the fact that they aren’t thinking about the other side. They are being selfish and focusing on their own pain.
