All Hail the Queen

She doesn’t recognize the other, but her lips pressed together, immediately sensing malicious energy. She gave a somewhat bitter grimace at the comment on her body, as it was something she was insecure about even though Gen, even after pregnancy, was pretty much a stick. She drew Jonas and Blue back, eyes on the other, “Hmm, which one are you? Ruby? Or someone better? Because this sure is getting old.” This was her holding her tongue.

“Ew, no.” Clara rolled her eyes. “So many other demons and you had to think about the one who fucked your husband.” She scoffed. “Ruby was pathetic. Everyone in hell knew she wouldn’t get anything for opening the gates of hell. Lucifer didn’t even glance at her, let alone give her any reward.” She said. “I was raised in hell, I’m way better than Ruby.”

“Eight years is a long time, who knows what can happen before that.” Not that Shawn was trying to or even thinking of trying to break the deal. It seemed like something that would cause more trouble in the end, hence why he hadn’t told anyone yet and if he could, he’d take the secret to hell with him. “Plus you guys switch out who’s in charge all the time and demons ain’t loyal for long. When the time comes, chances are you have already fallen. Even if you haven’t, torture the shit outta me all you want, I won’t give into anything.” He wasn’t being brave nor was he really trying to provoke anything to happen here but it was the first time he was able to address it aloud, so his thoughts didn’t come out filtered, even though they should since demons were always the nastiest to deal with. He didn’t know who he was dealing with but after their interaction, he was going to try and figure it out, so he could know how serious her claim was.

“That is true. But will you try to break your deal? Will you risk your friend’s life?” Clara asked. There were ways to break a deal. Not many, but there were, and she would do her best to prevent that from happening if he ever tried. “You’re right. Demons aren’t loyal. They follow the strongest and in the past couple of years leadership changed a bit.” She nodded. “But you can say I’m daddy’s little girl, the favorite daughter  and I always get what I want. And when I don’t get what I want, or when people try to take what it’s mine... Well, I get a little angry and people tend to die when I do.” Now that Clra had the crown she wouldn’t allow anyone to steal it from her. Demons knew what she was capable of and how bad things got when she didn’t get what she wanted. She was the worst because she couldn’t even remember having a taste of what humanity was. “You’ll give in. Everyone does. It will be under my ruler, you’ll be mine. Maybe I’ll do all the torturing myself. You’re an interesting guy, the kind of guy who has nothing to lose. I want to know what makes you break.”

“nah, i’m pretty sure it’s the town.” sam responded with a shake of his head, finishing off his drink and pushing the glass away from him. “i gotta go home before i get too damn drunk. gen is gonna be mad at me anyway.” he stood up and leant against the bar so he didn’t end up falling down. “what did you say your name was?”

“Oh, well. Then maybe I should leave before it’s too late.” Clara replied with a sigh. She watched him, nodding when he said he had to leave. She only gave him a little bit of her blood, but that was enough to make him crave it again. “Name’s Clara. It’s was nice meeting you.”

Clara wasn’t wrong there she figured. Things were complicated when she had tried to help Dante. This demon, however, seemed to have a better control. She appeared to know what she was doing. “Ok…I’ll help,” Anastasia settled. She was curious and she couldn’t lie and say she didn’t want a touch of that power she had wanted before. 

Clara smile widened when Ana agreed to help Clara. Poor girl. She had no idea what she was getting into. “Smart girl.” She replied. “I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun together.”

“Why am I not surprised?” Molly said, mirroring Clara’s smile as she leans back in her chair. She can practically see all the wheels turning in the demon’s head as she processes Molly’s report. From what the hybrid has seen Clara’s intent to remain on top of things around her, no matter the cost. Though she doesn’t completely lose the smirk in her expression, Clara’s comment about letting her live does dampen it a bit. “Right. Did you want anything else, or can I go now?”

“Because you’re as wicked as I am.” Clara grinned. “I chose you for a reason.” Clara didn’t like anyone, she didn’t have any sort of feelings, and she wanted people around her that were the same. If Molly ever started putting her emotions above her job, Clara would kill her. “You can go. I‘m sure you have people to torture, lives to destroy. But keep me updated. I ant to know every detail about Mystic Falls.”

The flicker of black her eyes showed didn’t make him tense up any more than he had been already but the simple harmless conversation got sucked away. Now Shawn just wanted to get away from her. He’d have to deal with all of that some day but until the day came, he preferred to avoid it entirely. “Boss?” Lifting a brow he slowly nodded his head debating on turning away from her or not. He figured if he kept trying to walk away she would just follow or maybe he’d be surprised and she’d give up. “I have no idea who you are lady and I sure as shit won’t be workin’ for you or anyone like you.”

Clara smiled at his lack of reaction to what she was. She didn’t get that from many people and that made him even more interesting. “Sure you will.” Clara replied. “Not many demons have the knowledge of the deals made with humans, but as ruler I have to know everything.” She shrugged. “In what? Either years or so you will be painfully dragged to hell byt hell hounds. I’m guessing you’ll be a tough one to break, but everyone eventually caves and you, like every single soul in hell, will answer to me.”
