The second image is a reply from @/autumnwyvern: As shifters they are directly in the middle of the human-animal spectrum. If speaking specifically about the humanoid form as a design then they fall somewhere within the kemonomimi/gijinka range as they are mostly human with animal traits attached (zoomorphic) vs mostly animal with human traits attached (anthropomorphic). Swim form is anthropomorphic btw, which is why on the whole they are directly smack dab in the middle
