I heard about this tragic story of a 9-month-old baby girl being raped and killed and was shocked and disgusted to find that people were quicker to blame the single mother (as well as immigration) than the sick fuck responsible for ending an infant’s life. This breaks my heart. This child’s life was not taken because the mother was single or because the suspected murderer is latino; this child’s life was taken because there is a screwed up fucking rapist murderer out there who was raised in a rape culture that is more eager to point fingers at a single mother and undocumented citizens than at a rapist baby killer and our own disgusting culture.
