Thanks to WWLP-22News, the news is spreading that 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱'𝘀 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 🥞 is happening Saturday, May 16th with State Representative Carlos Gonzalez serving as the Honorary Chair. It is sponsored by MGM Springfield with additional support from area businesses and hundreds of volunteers.

𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 is returning to Bright Nights at Forest Park! The jolly man in the big red suit will be at the Barney Carriage House December 5 and 12 for dinner and holiday wishes.

The team at the Springfield Park Department is hard at work installing the hundreds of displays that make Bright Nights at Forest Park such a magical place during the holiday season.

They will ready to light them on on Wednesday, November 24th at 5pm.

Lights will be lit two month from tonight! 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸's 27th season opens on Wednesday, November 24th.

Today, we announced the return of the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 to MGM Springfield on Saturday, November 13, and this year's sponsor, Eastman, and the Chair, Shawn Pace, Eastman Indian Orchard Site Manager.

One week ago, we remembered the first responders who courageously lost their lives saving others from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.

We thank all who supported the event, attended, and watched on WWLP-22News.

For the first time in its 35-year history, the World’s Largest Pancake Breakfast will be held in August with the support of MGM Springfield and many area businesses. It will include all of its traditional fare, pancakes, bacon, coffee, juice, and milk, entertainment, and family fun. It will also include treats from Entenmann’s and cold crisp water courtesy of the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission, interactive displays from the Springfield Fire and Police Departments, and the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

Hampden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni will preside over Springfield’s pancake party as the 2021 Honorary Chair. He will tour Main Street to thank volunteers and greet guests. He will flip some pancakes and give greetings at 9:30am from Peter Pan Bus Lines’ Futurliner on Bruce Landon Way.
