My headcanon for Misango’s name (and why it seems so repetitive with the name of his people/deity) is....
‘Misango’ is a sort of revered and powerful name in Misangan culture. It represents their deity in a sort of mortal way.
Not many people have this name, though, as it’s traditionally only given to people born into warrior families, or people who’ve earned the title through battle.

Misango carefully took the bracelet into his own hands, palms flat-up like he were inspecting priceless cloth. He wouldn’t lie: this looked to be a rather juvenile attempt at crafting a bracelet, but that wasn’t what mattered. Ghosty made this. An attempt is still something, right?
“Annie, yes? You should work more with making… eh, bracelets. Thank you for showing me this. These strands are a piece of your life.”
The crude bracelet was offered back to Ghosty carefully, with a bowed head and a small smile.
