Same thing goes to my art. I’m always taking constructive advice and seeking to improve. Although, most of what i post here are sketches.

Ps: Also i lovelovelovelove to yap about my ocs but i try not to post about them that much since most people don’t care for them just to warn you if you try to talk to me about them you might get stuck in a two hours long unskippable monologue.

1- You can take wealth away, you can’t take connections. It would be incredibly hard to break a old money, high society aristocratic millionaire. They always have a trust fund, fans and investors.

2- In case they somehow went broke, there’s no way Damian ‘this manor is a huge downgrade to me’ Wayne is surviving or not unleashing a catastrophic event upon Gotham. That boy needs a king sized bed and silk sheets to survive.

3- TALIA AL GHUL is Bruce’s baby momma and he is her BITCH. In case he went broke, here’s how i imagine the interaction would go:

Talia: Hey, so how is it going darling?

Bruce: You know, tough times. I’ve got limited funds, business isn’t going well…..

Alfred: “Sir, Robin threw up and is requesting to be excused from school and his duties tomorrow.”

Bruce, pinching the bridge of his nose and sighing: “……Red Robin or Robin Robin?”

Alfred: “Uh….Robin Robin, sir.”

Bruce: “……Alright. Just make sure he gets in bed on time tonight.”

My DC universe OC and Damian because i think they would tots slay in Dress to Impress

Cass and Damian: “My parents trained me since i was young to be a top grade killer. I didn’t have a childhood and i struggle to express my feelings and connect to others due to my lack of communication and emotional development growing up.”

Jason, Duke and Dick: “My parents died because of a villain, leaving me traumatized and resentful.”

And then there’s….

Steph: “Yeah, my dad is an asshole. I just….hate him. So i became a vigilante. Why i became a Robin? I just low-key felt like it.”

Like yah, Bruce can be a cold, distant parent some of the time, but it’s hard to believe that he would just…. be a complete asshole to his kids and not care for them. Want to portray Bruce as a bad father for angst? Its so much easier to just portray him as negligent instead of outright abusive. Because Bruce himself didn’t have present parents in his childhood, is easier and more believable for him to just fail to realize his children’s needs and feelings, or for him to just forget to express his care towards them because he assumes that they already know that he cares.

It’s easier to believe that he is extra rough on their training out of fear of losing them in missions because they weren’t prepared enough, or that he doesn’t appear with them much in public or go out with them as Bruce Wayne because he fears that they’ll become a target. But he’s bad at expressing himself and that ends up making it seem like he doesn’t care for them.

Not only does it keep the ‘Bad Parent’ illusion, since that’s how it seems in the eyes of the kids, but it adds extra angst— Because just imagine the guilt of having your kid die not knowing that you care for them and love them unconditionally. Just imagine the guilt he would feel when someone gets hurt because they are reluctant to come to him for help.

Not that Damian would ever allow him or anyone else to do it, either.
