I set my phone down frowning slightly and looked out the window of my dorm it was nearing late evening so I had a few hours until I could watch the shooting stars. Maybe I’d be able to convince someone else to stay up to watch it.

I looked away and kicked my legs out and sprung onto my feet deciding to go act on that plan. As I entered the hallway I remembered that Shinso was know for staying up late so maybe I could convince him to watch it with me.

I grinned and started making my way towards the main room where everyone usually hung out. Not too many people were around except some of the deku squad like Todoroki, Aoyoma and Uraraka.

“Hey guys!” I waved towards them with a smile leaning against a nearby couch. “Oh Hi Kaminari!” Uraraka greeted me with mirrored small wave.

“Y’knoww…theres a shooting star event later tonight..” I said looking up at the ceiling casually. “Oh that’s interesting.” This time it was Todoroki who responded who didn’t at all seem interested.

“Yea I was gonna get the Baku squad to watch it with me but they’re too busy or something.” I shrugged it off simply and had little hope I was going to get anyone here watch with me.

“Hmm, well I hope you find someone to watch with you! I wouldn’t mind but I’ve gotta study up on my English.” Uraraka sighed with a slight pout and Todoroki just shrugged Aoyama on the other hand had completely vanished from the main room. “Well good luck on that…have any of you seen Shinso? I think I could get him to watch with me.”

I asked with a tilt of my head. “I think he’s in his room I haven’t seen him in a while.” Uraraka murmured looking up towards the ceiling. “Thanks man I’ll go find him!”

I shot her double finger guns before taking off to go harass nicely ask Shinso. I made it upstairs and easily located his room not too far from my own and knocked on the door in a rhythmic pattern a habit I picked up on when I was younger and never quite let go of.

I stood back with a hopefully not too mischievous smile as the door creaked open and a tired purple haired boy appeared and glared at me. “Shinso! I was wondering if you’d wanna watch the shooting stars with me? They’re said to be really pretty!”

I grinned at him ignoring the harsh glare he kept, he rolled his eyes and the glared faded while I gave him a quizzical tilt of my head.

“Fine. When is it?” My eyes lit up happily at his agreement and I happily told him when the stars would start showing up. “They’re supposed to start showing up at around eleven I think. And I know a way to get onto the roof of the building so we can watch there!”

He shook his head but I think, no! I swear! I saw a glimpse of something like fondness in his eyes before he looked away. “Fine meet up here at 10:50.” I gave him a thumbs up and with that he shut his door and I went back to my room to wait for 10:50. Eventually the time came and I met up eight Shinso who was wearing his signature scowl on his face and baggy clothing.

“Shinsooooo!” I exclaimed in a low voice as to not wake anybody up, he raised an eyebrow and muttered something to his self. “Why did I agree to this.” I gasped dramatically and stared at him with mock offense. He smirked and I rolled my eyes at him and started leading the way to where the secret exit was that lead to the roof.

“Don’t ask how I found this out.” I joked as we sat on the rooftop a fairy good watching spot for the stars. We stayed there for a few moments in comfortable silence before the stars started showing up and flying across the sky.

I stared at them with amazement as they shone brightly cutting through the darkness of the sky mixed between other smaller stars. They were so pretty prettier than I had imagined them to be.

Shinso seemed to be intrigued by them too because when I glanced at him his eyes were fixated on a larger star. I’m not sure how long we sat there but we did until the last star fell and the night once again consumed the sky.

“Hey Shinso?” I asked looking at him in the corner of my eye. “Hmm?” “Thanks for watching the stars with me.” “No problem.”
