so my contribution for this year's hunter x hunter big bang event (@hxhbigbang25) is a hisoillu fic! here is the first chapter of terms of engagement.

The king has declared that the first to best him in a duel will win his hand in marriage. Citizens across the land take up his challenge, assembling in the palace courtyard each night. But the king is a more dangerous opponent than they're led to believe, and the kingdom’s numbers begin to dwindle. Illumi is contracted to handle the issue. Hisoka is oddly cooperative. Inspired by the tale of Scheherazade (One Thousand and One Nights). Or: when courting is unintentional.

I had the absolute DELIGHT of taking part in the hxh big bang event for the first time this year (@hxhbigbang25) as an artist, and got to illustrate something for @sunshinemagic’s lovely hisoillu fic, Terms of Engagement !! it’s such a cute read, and yall know I love illumi so I enjoyed it very much (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) I highly recommend checking it out!!
