one last song from me.

hey tumblr, it's been a while. sort of. i don't know the last time i looked through my dashboard. most of the 1000+ folks that used to follow me are also in the same boat. i get that, times have changed. it isn't the same place it was from 2007-2011 ish. part of that was because i was super honest about my life then. i made truly incredible friends (fridha!!!) that are permanent parts of my life. i met dumb dudes that tended to treat me terribly. one didn't. i won't get that one back into my life because i was the awful one. or at least that's how i've tended to look at it. we're all moving on from tumblr...one way or another. tumblr was a blank page that i turned into real friendships. that's fucking awesome. but the reality is that it is probably my time to move on as well. that being said. i do want to stay in touch with a lot of you. spinlighted is not where you'll find me elsewhere online. you can message me and i'll give you my handle for twitter/insta. either way. i'm grateful for the time i've spent on this platform. it made me feel less alone when that was all i was capable of feeling. i hope you all find your way. love, bethany
