it's nice to see Rin mirror Shirou in being mad on their servant's behalf over them not getting compensated for their good deeds. i hope someone does it to Rin to keep the cycle going

okay, so Souichirou won because of a mix of being boosted by Caster and Saber not knowing his fighting style. still, that was wild. an entire interlude of just Saber getting beat up. mean. now he's given Caster permission to start killing

Shirou was left in a lot of pain after all that, presumably from summoning Archer's swords and his connection to Excalibur's sheath

another Shinji interlude. sounds like we're in the Matou basement. i still don't remember what happens in there besides something creepy but it may be similar to what Kirei has set up in his own basement

it seems like Shinji's father is just slightly above his grandfather in terms of decency. not enough to teach him to respect women, but enough to not be fully devoted to reviving the magi bloodline
