Piers had spent the whole day thinking about what he'd been told by Plumeria the night before; every time he got a soft smile to him. It was so exciting..! Whenever he was asked about what was making him so happy by others in Yell, he sort of brushed it off.
But now, laying on his bedroom, he had no one to explain it to- that smile never leaving him. This next month couldn't go by fast enough; all he wanted was to see Plumeria, hold her again, have all of the excitement with her..

Piers hadn't gotten a chance to see the text right away; it had come in while he was out of his room for a moment. Though he had heard the sound of the notification, he had a special one just for Plumeria. So as he got back to his room, he was quick to check- the picture hadn't loaded right away, leaving Piers to take a second to read.. What was she on about? Tapping the picture to see if it would load faster, he waited, thinking over what it could be.. Until it loaded. Piers eyes went wide, "Holy shit-" He spoke excitedly to no-one but himself in the room, a grin coming to him. Piers almost forgot to answer her in the moment, his excitement to much to consider that. But quickly as he thought to, Piers was texting Plumeria, never more excited then now.

It wasn't easy to get his exact excitement in text, but with Plumeria knowing him- she would know his tells even over text, that he was beyond excited.

Piers was sat on his stage, his favorite spot to be if he wanted to be outside for a bit. On a usual day, he might be practicing a new song, or talking to some of Yell. Today, he was sat with his new Shiny Salandit he'd been given the day before. She was exploring the stage, while Piers and his Obstagoon, Lucy, were watching over her. Reaching over, Piers gave the little lizard a gentle pet, avoiding that red design on its back, "You're a real curious one aren't ya.." An answer from he'd came in the form of a low chatter, her tail wagging almost. It brought a smile to Piers, speaking again after a moment, "You're real cute.."
Hey look! Dahlia is skittering up to Piers! Where i Plumeria? IDK! "Salaaaaaaaaaaaazzzz, salaz!" Skitters circles around Piers then stands up, grabs his hands and PLOPS a shiny female baby Salandit into his hands. Liiiicks his face! Skitter back off!
Piers paused in his path as he saw the Salazzle circle him, giving her a little smile, "Hey there!" He offered the Pokemon, excited to see her- usually it could mean Plumeria was near by! But a quick look, she wasn't. He was a little disappointed, but he was stopped as his hands were grabbed. "Hm?" He was confused until the little lizard was plopped into his hands- oh! Before he could speak, his face was licked by the lizard, and she was off. "Oh- hey!" Piers called out, but she was gone; he would thank her later. For now, he looked down at the little white lizard in his hands. She yawned, a little flicker of fire at the back of her throat, "Aw.. You're kinda cute. C'mere." Gently, Piers lifted her and settled her on his shoulder. A new friend!
Grabs his face and smooches all over it ! ! !
A surprised sound left Piers as his face was grabbed, having to lean down a little from the slight height difference. A small laugh left him as kisses we're pressed to his face, letting his arms fall around Plumerias midsection, pulling her into a soft hug. He caught her during one of the kisses and pressed his own soft one to her lips, breaking it off after a second to speak, "Well hey to you too!" A small laugh left him as he spoke, taking advantage of the small hug he gave her, to pull her closer.

Incoming! Not that he could hear. A pikachu, familiar to him, barrels into his legs at full speed!!! It rubs circles around his ankles, in a figure-8 pattern, crying and yelling for his attention. Oh, yes! It was her! The Florsley Diva- Chi, Emma's Pikachu.
There was a squeak of surprise from Piers as a Pikachu suddenly ran around his legs, watching the little fuzzball- oh!! It was a friend! "Well hey there lil cutie," He smiles, kneeling down, holding his arms out, "C'mon up!" It's cuddle time!

Piers had always known Hop as a kind of odd, but good kid.. Emphasis occasionally on the odd. Now was one of those times- he was being odd. A confused look covered his features as he looked down to Hop, "Yea I got time.. But what exactly do ya need help with? Cuz if it's drugs, no." No, he didn't believe that's what Hop came to him for, and he even made that clear with an amused smile come to him as he said it. So the kid at least knew it was a joke.

[ Alright so mini info dump about Piers -
He Is Post Game Based, but for two years he runs the gym with Marnie, so she isn't alone to learn the gym on her own. After that, he only helps if directly asked.
His story is just about the same as in game, except my Piers in particular is not from Galar. He's from Unova, and was moved to Galar at a young age. The way people spoke in Galar was confusing and overwhelming to him, so he never actually learned the meaning of half the terms they use. He just pretends to at this point.
I've swapped around his team for comforts sake- Malamar has been replaced with a Shiny Grimmsnarl. ]
