Just a knee jerk reaction from the surprise announcement from the absurdly dressed, bug-eyed stranger. His wary expression contorted into a confused snarl, eyes squinting dangerously – was this some kind of joke?

“Give me one good reason not to knock you out and walk away.”

“Because... it’s immoral?”

Peter didn’t expect that to come out of his mouth. Something less hostile and more ‘okay Spider-man, whatever you say’. Though since he hadn’t seen the other before, he doubted a friendly interaction.

“Listen, I don’t want anyone outside us, getting hurt. Please just, let us handle it.”
